Park Hill Hotel, hotel in Burgh Saint Peter

Park Hill Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Lowestoft. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a business centre.

An excellent hotel especially for those travelling with their furry friends. Extensive grounds in which to walk your dog and close to the dog friendly beach at Gorleston. The hotel is also within easy reach of Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Olton Broad to name a few. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is something to be looked forward to delicious and sustaining The evening menu is a bit limited but the food was expertly cooked, by the owner I think, and beautifully presented. The other thing I liked was there was no change for dogs whereas the majority of hotels are now charging between £10 and £25 a night per dog and this can add a lot to a holiday. This was our second visit and we have booked another holiday later in the year. I can recommend this hotel without reservation book now and enjoy your holiday.

    Pleasant staff.

Pleasant staff. Hearty breakfast, swimming pool and a spacious room. Downsides were remote location meant for us needing to use the car to get anywhere. To use the free WiFi you need to navigate endless hurdles to register whilst using a poor mobile signal.

An unusual riverside location down a country lane with no passing traffic. Marina on site, indoor swimming pool adjacent. Lovely and peaceful, wonderful location for the bar in the summer overlooking hundreds of acres of meadows and the river. Not all rooms have a view of the river, ours did. Locally the transport museum near Lowestoft and the aviation museum near Flixton (I think) are both truly excellent, volunteer-run places to visit where the exhibits are numerous, you can touch them, no interactive video rubbish and no dumbing down. The volunteers are all experts and proper cups of tea are available. The aviation museum is free (but obviously donate) and the transport museum is also very good value for money - even found the exact trolley bus, I mean the very one I used to ride on in my youth!

Lovely location and walks around the surrounding area.

Lovely location and walks around the surrounding area. Great leisure facilities available to hire. A perfect peaceful break. The food available at the Inn was good, along with a good bar. Booking required to dine. There is a good size swimming pool, which you do have to book in advance. It isn’t that easy to find, as my sat-Nav got confused and not enough road signage, in my opinion.

Lack of facilities in site, not as advertised.

Lack of facilities in site, not as advertised. Pretty area, but depends on what type of holiday you want. Found a lovely pub about 6 miles away called Wheatacee White Lion. Great food, service etc. Quite a difficult place to find. This is more a holiday for campers, kayakers, hikers etc.

    Accommodation good , clean .

Accommodation good , clean . Helpful staff , good food in the restaurant but far too slow . Lengthy wait for orders to be taken and long wait for food . Stayed 6 nights and it was the same every meal . Staff trying their best but a lack of supervision and organisation.
