We live on the south coast and were attending a large family reunion in Bishop's Stortford so Spring Paddocks was the ideal location. We needed to stay for two nights and did not want to stop in a large hotel chain. They are alright but we wanted somewhere peaceful to unwind and take it easy as we are both in our 70s. Spring Paddocks was perfect being set in the Essex countryside. The host was lovely and provided everything we needed. The accomodation was equipped with a kitchen with ample foodstuff for a quick continental breakfast. One thing we really appreciated is having fresh milk instead of the awful long-life stuff supplied in a lot of places. Highly recommended and we will certainly return there if the need arises.

The location was ideal for us, it was beautifully quiet and in a lovely village. Our room was very comfortable and along with the shared bathroom, was immaculately clean. Juliette was a great host and provided a fabulous breakfast of cereal, toast, bacon and egg and great coffee.

We’ll use HIE London Stansted again. The shuttle bus service works well and it’s very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception were polite and helpful and breakfast was good (a small variety of coffees and teas, bread, cooked eggs and bacon, cereals, milk yogurt and fresh fruits).
Just 5 minutes’ drive from Stansted Airport, this Days Inn is close to the M11 and provides free parking for guests. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception.

Good location, very convenient for travelling anywhere off the A1. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed.
