Great position on the river Humber. A lovely boutique pub with amazing staff. We had a great room with river views would recommend we stayed in Pebbly beach. Comfy bed and huge shower in the bathroom. We ate Sunday lunch which was delicious should have asked for more roast potatoes they were so good.

The Sunday carvery was excellent. The breakfast very tasty and high quality bacon and sausages, but was a variation of a full English (no black pudding). No juices that we could see, no cereals or pastries.

The location on the very edge of a nature reserve is heaven for nature lovers.We were warmly greeted by host and geese. What an amazing experience staying here: dawn chorus, bat display at night, meeting a deer in the nature reserve and the array of birds.
