Great choice for places to eat.
Great choice for places to eat. The walks around the area are so scenic but hard going if you are not used to hiking. Lots of places where you can just sit in peace and quiet. Worth a walk up to Berry Head and the forts. Some nice nature walks as well. Also walk up to the Battery and the coves just further along the coast path.

Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk.
Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk. It's a lovely town that does not have the winter shut down feel of some other coastal towns in the UK, probably because it is also a working port town so never really completely switches off.
We ate in La Petit Maison and Rock Fish; both fabulous restaurants that I can highly recommend and drinks/cocktails in Liberties on the Harbour front; also very much recommended.

Loved it quant interesting not commercial.
Loved it quant interesting not commercial. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. It was Autumn when we visited and the town had slip into its winter mode. Restaurants and shops closed earlier than we expected. Best to check opening times. We enjoyed eating in The Birdcage pub restaurant. As one would expect Brixham its hilly. Plenty of walks but we did not have time to take advantage of many. We will definitely be going back my favourite place in Devon

Loved Liberty's, Birdcage and all the lush shops and Gallery's. Everyone made us all feel so welcome a home away from home. A fab mediterranean restaurant in the harbour can highly recommend a visit to. All in all a fab friendly place to visit and stay and then return.
Never judge a book by its cover. This Pub/Hotel is on the main Brixham Road right next to the Dartmouth Steam Railway and very easy to miss as you whizz past. The staff as super friendly and very attentive. The room was freshly decorated with everything you could need including a nice hot bath! The best feature however is the fantastic food served in the bar. We recently stayed in a 4 star local hotel but the food here knocked it out the park… Can only be described as fabulous.
Good value and highly recommended
Our room had a wonderful view of the beautiful Brixham harbour and the colourful buildings on the other side, probably the best possible view in Brixham.
Matthew and Rosie were excellent hosts. We were visiting Brixham with a view to possibly moving there and Matthew was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The cooked breakfasts were really good and if you're a lover of Marmite you'll be in for a treat - I had no idea it was made in so many flavours!
The room was clean and comfortable; homely.
Booked this hotel last minute and wasn’t disappointed, we were 30 minutes late to check in due the M5 and we still had a friendly welcome when we arrived, the room was lovely, very clean and the facilities are great, good shower and a comfy bed, location cannot be beaten if you want a slow wander into Brixham, the cherry on the top for me was the breakfast (with the room), full English cooked to perfection, this was our first visit to Brixham and it was made perfect by staying in this hotel.
We had a fabulous time at the hotel. Stayed 6 nights. Staff really pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
Even a little mishap at the end of the holiday leaving something behind in the room, the hotel was kind enough to send on to me which I received the next day.
The views are great, fantastic walks and Brixham was just the place we needed for the break. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Will be visiting again! :-)
More than we expected from this lovely B&B and we’ll definitely be looking to return. The owners were fantastic hosts - incredibly welcoming and provided very tasty (plentiful) breakfasts! Comfortable, spacious room with everything we needed. We loved seeing the steam trains coming past and being able to sit on the terrace in the evening, with only a short drive in to Brixham. Excellent gem of a hotel. Thank you!
The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location with super views of Brixham harbour, it was impeccably decorated to.
The bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower and his & her sinks with heated and lit mirrors.
There was a fridge with a bottle of milk in, a coffee machine and a 1 cup kettle.
It was also a nice touch to supply a couple of glasses of wine on the table overlooking the harbour and sunset.
The property was well above the usual B & B standard. The room was very smart and had a balcony with views of the harbour and sea. There was a large choice for breakfast and everything we ate was delicious.
Parking is an issue in Brixham but the owners parked their cars on the street to make sure we had a space when they moved their cars.
The location of this boat is fantastic right in the heart of everything, the onboard facilities are good and the harbour facilities are also very good and easily accessible and the wildlife you will see is unreal a real gem. Will definitely be back.
A well presented clean & spacious apartment ideally situated for you to explore Brixham and the surrounding area. Great views of the harbour and beyond. Our host Sarah went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay.
A very well equipped apartment and located well for access to the harbour, local shop and bus stop. Sharon ensured we had a comfortable stay and we were left an extensive Welcome pack. Very good value for money.
Short walk into town center and quay. Cooked to order breakfast, with the best sausages. Marc is the perfect host. Good size room with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend.
Nice welcome, very cozy, breakfast food and beverage available. Sound advice on where to park the car. Good live music in the bar Saturday night. Location handy for Brixham harbour and beach.
Breakfast was really good - freshly made and very tasty. Friendly staff there and felt welcome there. Great location and even paying for parking still made it good value.
Fantastic location, just a few minutes walk to town and harbour. Amazing views. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. On site parking which is much sought after in Brixham
Great hotel with character and a short walk to Brixham Harbour. Car parking was available. The owner was really pleasant and breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice
