It’s in the middle of the places that we’re going to. Staff are friendly and accommodating.the food is good. The room that we had is spacious and comfortable. Although when we were about to order for our dinner on the first night the shut the kitchen earlier and did not informed us. But they were very apologetic and made an amendment and we are happy with the service

We were allocated another hotel due to the Holiday Inn being refurbed, however the replacement was excellent, we stayed at the Hotel Ibis, Bridgewater, we had 1 twin & 1 double connecting rooms which were amazing. Loved the "industrial" feel and look of the decor. Breakfast was slow and had to wait for food to be replenished, however it was very good.

Countryside all around, spiralling town of a moderate size with a river running through its heart.
Town centre good for shopping, wandering, plenty of nice cafes & other eating & drinking places.
Handy place to stay & visit places attractions in the wider area. Decent road system, easy to navigate. Like everywhere parking is the proble, but not if you don't mind short pleasant walk, as opposed to parking at the door of where you want.

I went to school here and lived in the area for many years so my visit was to catch up with some old friends. The town centre has improved over the decades and seems to be thriving - probably due to the current Hinckley C construction.
Retail and business parks can be found close to the town along with a selection of supermarkets.
Plenty of history in the area and a visit to the museum will highlight the local involvement in the Civil war.
There is a one way system through / around the centre of the town. Plenty of cafés and a Wetherspoons.

Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns.
Bridgwater isn't the prettiest of towns. It's quite industrial with lots of different units around. We only actually stopped there on one occasion for a brief while to get some lunch. We did find a suitable pub which was OK but nothing special. I was expecting more oldie worldy.

My son lives there so we went out and about by car, Bridgwater itself is run down and in need of some investment and tlc, not much to do in the way of eating out you would need to travel out a bit to take advantage of the country pubs and carveries, one bit od advice give the KFC in Bridgwater a big miss it’s dirty, seems more concerned with delivery orders than actual walk in customers, we went in on Sunday evening around 8.15, it was empty and we struggled to find a clean table to use

I live in the North West of England and this town was very similiar. Compact shopping centre with a mix of the usual retailers and plenty of local traders.
If you like pub life, you will be well catered for.
A friedly atmosphere created by the locals.
A well-located hotel in a quiet village on the old A38, away from the M5. There is ample free parking on-site, and the rooms are large, comfortable, clean and well maintained, if slightly dated in style of decor. The food was good, and with some further attention to details, could be very good, as were the carefully chosen and well-priced wines. But the outstanding aspect of the hotel are the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, engaging, and attentive to customers' needs. Thank you all for making it a delightful stay!
A couple of areas are in need of an update but the hotel was clean and in an ideal position for our weekend. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was easy with lots of available spaces. Rooms were at a good temperature which may sound like an odd comment but room temperature is often difficult to get right. The food (evening meal and breakfast) were also very good. Not quite excellent but very good overall.
Wifi was included. The hotel was clean and comfortable. A little dated and some maintenance issues but it is an old building so doesn't matter. It is on a busy road but there is triple glazing so they've tried to mitigate the noise as best they can. Traffic noise didn't disrupt my sleep. My brother had a room at front and he wasn't affected by road noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large car park at rear. Excellent breakfast.
didnt eat breakfast there. location was fine if you like looking at lorrys. It is pretty far from anything in that industrial park. Dinner was good. i liked the setup of the rooms. kinda like the way your are building your hotels now if this is how they will look.Your charger in the parking lot worked too which is great. i needed a charger that's why i chose to stay there
We really liked the warm welcome, friendly professional service and cleanliness and comfort of the facilities.
We found that the route from the roundabout to the hotel was far from obvious. We could see the Holiday Inn but not how to get there. perhaps more difficult as we arrived in heavy traffic, making us more anxious.
Rooms fantastic our room had a separate sitting area also a kitchen it was massive , all spotlessly clean , shower excellent , and our dog well catered for , as very dog freindly hotel . This hotel was probably one of the best we have stayed in on our way down to Cornwall and we will definitely use again.
from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, everyone that worked there were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional, be it breakfast or dinner.
Very good central location to get to most places in Somerset.
The Old Vicarage Hotel is also very dog friendly.
I would highly recommend a stay !
the room was exceptionally good value for money- it was beautiful, and also for the location of the hotel, it was excellent value for money! the proprietor is a very lovely gentleman and nothing is too much trouble for him. we are going back to stay there is two weeks for a weekend break!
Julie was unable to host me last minute, but was kind enough to organise and pay for my stay at the hotel Ibis in Bridgewater. Julie made sure I was totally catered for and she apologies for the last minute change which couldn't be helped. Thankyou Julie.
The staff were lovely Nana and Carly were very nice and extremely helpful! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay! Would absolutely recommend the ibis hotel bridgwater!
The Hotel is located very close to the town center. There are enough food options around and they have a large car park just outside. The room I had was large and clean except for the carpet which could be vaccumed more.
The hotel is a great place to stay in Bridgwater. My room was a good size, and very clean and tidy. Amanda, on reception, is fantastic! Very helpful and really nice too. I'll be back soon.
very good breakfast, good way to start the working day. The hotel was only 5 minutes from where we were working so was very well placed for us. Onsite parking was also a bonus.
Friendly owners and staff; superb room at front of property overlooking the church; great evening meal in the hotel restaurant and tasty English breakfast in the morning.
A nice little hotel with pleasant bedroom, clean, good ambience. Road very quiet at night. Nothing to dislike. Owner was friendly. very nice grounds and bar area.
