Beautiful surroundings, big family rooms with great views, very helpful and polite staff members. We were travelling with an elderly parent and our child... n our initial room allocation was very far apart. It took some time to sort, but Martha and Joseph were super helpful even late in the evening to get us rooms closer together.
The hotel corridors are like a maze with 2 or 3 buildings connected together, which was a bit intimidating at first, but we quite enjoyed the little walks to n from the room 😄
Nice little swimming pool area with jacuzzi and a steam room for a relaxed evening. Has a gym attached with brilliant views, though we didn't use it. The treatment room therapist, Sharon, was a lovely lovely lady. I will recommend the lava stone back massage, but some of the other treatments like pedicures were very basic.
Plenty parking spaces on site with a lovely restaurant and bar.

Very pretty building, interior decorated nice. Welcoming property with great views. We got room service in the evening for our meal, which was exceptional standard! Fantastic food couldn't recommend that evening meal enough. Room was very clean and has everything we needed.

A beautiful unspoilt part of the lake district with good pubs and plenty of good walking. Fantastic night sky ! Don't miss the Mason's Arms! Stock up at supermarket before arriving as no nearby shops.

Bowland bridge a quiet little hamlet that is a short drive...
Bowland bridge a quiet little hamlet that is a short drive approx 6 miles into Windermere. It was within easy reach of several pubs where you could eat. Very good location for getting to all the places that you would like to sightsee. There was walks there but unfortunately I didn’t have the time to explore the area. We ate at the brown horse which took about 8 mins to drive to. A great friendly pub with good food. The Hare and hounds in Bowland Bridge was my favourite pub. The food was excellent and great service from very attentive staff.

When we had a celebration meal in May we loved the place so much that we wanted to stay for longer this time. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts and evening meals were tasty, huge and always piping hot. We like the place because of the piece and tranquility-it's 4 miles from Windermere so still easy if you want to be where there is more going off.RaymondUnited Kingdom
