Luxury place, beautifully presented, very welcoming host Gary, nothing too much bother.
Lots of nice touches, for example quality chocolates, good tea/ coffee selection in room.
Breakfast is excellent, great selection of choices, quality products well cooked and presented and impeccably served. A five star establishment.
Set in 25-acres of beautiful Scottish countryside, Kinloch House Hotel is just one mile from the Loch Drumellie. It offers en suite bedrooms and a fine restaurant.

Filip's breakfast! We have been told that it will be a continental breakfast, but it was much more than that! Selection of cold meats (prosciutto, panetta, coppa and more), cheese (hard and soft - about 6 different), berris (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries), breads (also a selection!), croissant, pain au chocolat, homemade pancakes, AMAZING coffee, jams, but also crispy bacon and sausage rolls.
And so beautifully served! :-)
Room was also beautiful and had everything - little kitchen (microwave, fridge, cutlery and plates, cups and glasses), little living area with armchairs and TV, new powerful shower. Everything was nice and clean and very well decorated.

A well appointed town with good large shops on the outskirts. The old town centre is a bit run down, but pleasant enough. There is a lovely walk from the town centre along the river bank. Staying in Blairgowrie gives access to attractions nearby. Everything we wanted to see was within 30 minutes drive. Not a highland town, The highlands are 30 miles north.

The Lodge is a short walking distance to all facilities in town. We had lunch at The Dome (good traditional home cooked food, excellent
cakes and coffee). Evening meals - there are Chinese, Indian and Chippy take aways which we did not try but looked busy. We had a nice meal at Little's restaurant and a cheap one in Wetherspoons which was OK. There is also Angus Hotel for meals which we've used previously.
Nice walk along the river and back into town. Easy drive to Scone to walk the Quarrymill trails and enjoy the Macmillan Cafe and Scone Arms Hotel for lunch. In Spring nice trip to see the Ospreys at Loch of Lowes and Dunkeld & Birnam.

Return to Blairgowrie after 20 years since previous visit.
Return to Blairgowrie after 20 years since previous visit. Couldn't believe the amount of new houses. Lots of changes in the centre too. The town is very central for driving out and about and there are several pubs and restaurants in the outlying district.. Would recommend The Old Cross Inn in Rattray, the Ardler Tavern and the Alyth chip shop.
Also thanks to Halfords for finding the cause of my car's slow puncture and fitting 2 new tyres.

Blairgowrie is a little sleepy town, that really benefits from the nature that surrounds it. There is a lack of quirky cafes, however you can find couple of nice restaurants nearby. Excellent location for exploring Scottish countryside.

We did not have time to explore as this was just a stopover.
We did not have time to explore as this was just a stopover. I would point out that we walked into the town centre at about 4-30pm and found that the majority of the shops had already closed. The town appeared very quiet and a bit run down but is well-situated for surrounding attractions.
Liked the location in relation to the centre of Blairgowrie with a good restaurant nearby. It was very quiet - good parking. Rooms immaculate; lovely breakfast - couldn’t finish it! Very comfy beds and the room had everything we needed. Our host was really welcoming and so helpful. We were cycling around the area and there was plenty of space to park our bikes safely. Would definitely return and would recommend The Laurels to anyone.
Brilliant welcome, stunning room and best of all. Fantastic hosts. Attention to detail impeccable and little touches that puts these guys at the heat of what you want for a break.
Even had our very own Hinge & Bracket!!! We howled with laughter at may have been.
Will 100% be back as it’s one of THE places to stay in Scotland and hopefully this time we’ll have more time with you guys for a laugh.
John & Sabine.
Lovely secluded location but very close to Blairgowrie for pubs, restaurants etc. Lodge was very spacious and very well equipped for self catering. Mel the host gave us a lovely welcome and even left some biscuits and tablet. Nice touch! Lots of information on hand regarding the local area and attractions and amenities near by.
Everything that you can expect of a true B&B near the nice town of Blairgowrie Schotland.
A superb host, taking care of her guests in a very friendly manner. Wonderful breakfast and very attentive.
Room are comfortable and all is extremely clean and spotless.
No need to go to a hotel if you can stay at this B&B !!
Less than 10 min walk to town centre, on main road when coming into Blairgowrie so very easy to find, owners easy to get in touch with. Lodge much bigger than expected and facilities great, fully equipped kitchen, 2 great bathrooms. Would be so lovely in the summer to sit out on balcony with some cider 😊
Cosy, quaint little bothy with a real fire, plus an additional electric radiator, lovely room, so nice to lie in bed with the log burner gently lighting the room, well equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Wi-fi via phones was good as well. Great area if you're a walker.
The location! Perfect for visiting with family & friends in that part of Scotland.
The local shops were ideal for all that was needed.
Great walks around this area too.
The lodge had everything that I needed including peace & quiet.
Red Squirrels were an added bonus.
Bed configuration suited our group of 6 friends. Cottage was a little cold on arrival but living area soon heated up with log burner. There was linen hanging over the banister on arrival and downstairs bathroom could have been cleaner.
Stayed here for the weekend, this is a spotless clean beautiful apartment. Spacious, warm and comfy, central location.
We often visit Blairgowrie and we would try to get this apartment now before any of the hotels.

A lovely cottage - just a very short drive outside Blairgowrie (a bit far to walk). All mod cons and very comfy beds - nice and quiet for a good night's sleep. We will use this again on our return to the area.
Loved the peaceful location, garden and forest walk just up the back of the hotel. Was perfect stay with our dog who loved the sausage she got for breakfast. Will definitely go back.
Ate at the hotel for breakfast lunch and dinners. Meals were exceptional and great variety. Nice large room and big bed. Staff super friendly and very helpful.
Great location and fantastic value for money. We went as a family of six with two dogs and it was perfect. Good walks and a dog friendly pub just down the road.
Nice cosy cottage with good facilities in an excellent location. Plenty of room for all 7 of the family. Close to the centre of Blairgowrie and all amenities
