Waking up to beautiful peacocks in your garden was a joy. Cosy Cottage was perfect with its piping hot showers and comfortable bed. The furniture is lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was perfect and a night spent listening to ghost stories by candle light was topped off with the company of Tiggy the cat.

Mat and Lynn were trully amazing!! Mat is a fantastic host, he was very communicative and making sure we had everything we needed at all times. He gave lots of recommendations that turned out to be great! The place was super clean, at a great location, next to a small river. Everything was very well planned from the hosts side. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. Plenty of parking across the road. Excellent evening meal. Llangollen/Corwen rail just 5 mins drive away. Great all round.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, despite them being short staffed by no fault of their own. The room was clean and tidy with a beautiful view, had everything you need for a couple of nights away. Had a cosy homely feel to it. Me and my partner chose this as we wanted to complete a local waterfall hike (Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall hike I think its called - also highly reccomend!). Although we didn't have time to, there is a local Castle to explore in the village of Chirk (10 min drive away from hotel). Would highly recommend for a couple looking for a quiet relaxing stay. :)
