The staff were all fantastic, couldn't do enough to make me feel at home. Rooms were clean and comfortable, great pillows. Really cosy small bar area or a spacious restaurant area to choose from. The bar had a real fire on a stormy night when I was there so it was idyllic. The area is beautiful and most decent hotels are set on country roads somewhere but this was easy enough to find. Food was a little expensive tbh but you get what you pay for and the quality was excellent, with exceptional service.

Derrin was welcoming, warm, beautifully presented, light and quiet. Ivy was the star attending to every need and so thoughtful. Even though I had to go early for a ferry she left out a variety of things for breakfast. Ivy was reassuring when telling me about the ferry trip. All very much appreciated. Obviously a well loved and cared for guest house.
