Ballycastle is a small historic town with great sea views and a ferry that takes you to amazing Rathlin Island - the place for puffins. It is a gateway to the beautiful nine glens of Antrim, it is withing close driving distance to Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge and the famous Giant's Causeway.

I have travelled to Ballycastle many times - for its size the town has many amenities such as resturants, pubs, cafes, etc. The natural beauty in the area is great including the beach area, Fair Head rock formation, and the rolling hills in the area.

Sharon was a very attentive host providing us with excellent tips on where to eat, places to visit & with the weather being a total washout on our first day, with high winds, & heavy showers, she provided advice on some quality alternative experiences.
A superb host, providing clean, luxurious accommodation in a location 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the town, with a breakfast to set you up to reach base camp on Everest...we would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd trip to Ballycastle and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
However, what we didnt enjoy was the fact, that we had a fully electric car and out of 3 electric chargers there was just one but permanently out of order!!!! which is just unacceptable.
Whats more,Bushmills also didn't have a working EV charger so we were very stressed out looking for a working charger the whole afternoon which with 2 small kids it's no fun!The nearest EV charger is in Portrush so one has to plan it's journey.

Great little seaside town!
Great little seaside town! Just ask Irene what to do and where to eat, she has fantastic tips!
Town has a laundromat which was very convenient for us.
Only a 3 min drive to the beach from Irene’s and easy to get around
We went to O’Connor s pub for dinner, great food and a good variety. Really fun atmosphere, and even hard our first Guinness here

Hotel in great location with small playground/park, beach & harbour all very short walk away & very friendly staff. Some nice bars in the town for food (Diamond & O’Connors) & had great live music experience in the Harbour bar on Sat night 1st July, Band were good fun.
This exceptionally clean Ballycastle B&B has some of the most spectacular sea views. Just up the hill from the Ballycastle beach and ferry entrance, the Ardaghmore B&B’s front garden welcomes you with beautiful flowers and sitting spaces. Upon entering the home, you are welcomed by the friendly inn keeper and shown to your room. I had the massive front room with windows overlooking the sea. The entire home was spot less and the location couldn’t be best if you’re going to take the ferry to Rathlin island.
Excellent accommodation a short distance outside Ballycastle. The owner Natasha was very welcoming and even gave us a glass of processo and some lovely homemade brownies on arrival. She was very understanding and nice even when we had a little accident with one of our pets. Breakfast was very good and we had the vegetarian fry. The room as lovely and large and the rest of the lodge was very tastefully decorated.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay with Chrissie & Chris. We felt immediately at home and were delighted by their personal touches and willingness to share time with us. Every aspect of our room, breakfasts and location for walking to local pubs and restaurants was great. What a way to wrap up a 16 day trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland!
This is an expensive high quality hotel. At the very least when there is snow and Ice all around the hotel it would be safer for guests if they did some salt spreading? It was very dangerous. I also thought the full fry was a wee bit small. I’ve stayed in many places in Ballycastle and they generally are a lot better and much more
Amazing host - super polite, and helpful
The place is super squeaky clean...
Very comfy bed and pillows! So much better than these so called big chain hotels!
Flexible breakfast options , all requests were fulfilled
Place is two minutes walk to the beach, and high street while equally quiet at night!
Room was clean and comfortable and shared kitchen was handy to have your 'bring you own' breakfast in. Accommodation is essentially a room en suite in a house in a small quiet housing estate on the outskirts of Ballycastle. Owner was easy to contact and gave some useful tips regards restaurants etc.
Location very good. Kitchen Dining and Lounge area Specious. Nice garden area, but a bit cool for us to sit out too long. Quiet area, Close to Co-Op supermarket, Restaurants and Pubs. 12min walk to Beach and Harbour. Ballycastle is near main tourist attractions. Wifi good.
Firstly, I didn't receive the information email so when we arrived in Ballycastle we had no way of getting into the property
and had to make phone calls to get access.
The sign for the property is not the same name as the name on booking.com so it was a bit confusing.
Excellent corner loft. Annette is an incredible host. She left a few snacks along with recommendations for enjoying your time in the Ballycastle area. The apartment was perfect and then some. The loft was exceptionally clean and provided all our traveling needs.
Excellent location, in middle of town but very quiet. Property was very clean, cute and unique. Loved the outside patio area. Would def recommend a stay. Ballycastle is such a lovely town with lots of places to eat and drink. Great scenery and beautiful beach.
Property was really tastefully decorated in a cool, funky fashion. Extremely clean and the hosts were really nice and accommodating. The game room is pretty cool! The breakfast was scrumptious and the menu is pretty varied. Highly recommend staying here!
The accommodation was very good. The private entrance was great and let you feel totally in control of your stay. The emails from the landlord with contact details for restaurants and things to do around the area were very helpful as well.
Perfect location, central to all the natural wonders of Northern Ireland and central to the town of Ballycastle. The grocery store is literally around the corner and there is plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short walking distance.
Sharon was friendly, welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Really convenient to all the sights and facilities in Ballycastle. Breakfast was fabulous.
