very modern but with a touch of the past, classy and spacious, and so comfortable. clearly, a lot of effort went into the design and I certainly appreciated it.
I would stay there again if return and so hope to do!

I have travelled to Ballycastle many times - for its size the town has many amenities such as resturants, pubs, cafes, etc. The natural beauty in the area is great including the beach area, Fair Head rock formation, and the rolling hills in the area.

Sharon was a very attentive host providing us with excellent tips on where to eat, places to visit & with the weather being a total washout on our first day, with high winds, & heavy showers, she provided advice on some quality alternative experiences.
A superb host, providing clean, luxurious accommodation in a location 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the town, with a breakfast to set you up to reach base camp on Everest...we would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd trip to Ballycastle and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
However, what we didnt enjoy was the fact, that we had a fully electric car and out of 3 electric chargers there was just one but permanently out of order!!!! which is just unacceptable.
Whats more,Bushmills also didn't have a working EV charger so we were very stressed out looking for a working charger the whole afternoon which with 2 small kids it's no fun!The nearest EV charger is in Portrush so one has to plan it's journey.

Ballycastle is absolutely lovely - a great mix of beach, small shops, bars and cafes, and access to travel around the Causeway Coast and wider Northern Ireland. The town centre has bars with really good quality pub food - the Diamond and the Central Bar are great, with Marconi's restaurant on the front serving more bistro type food. There's a selection of bakeries and deli's with great local produce, and a Co-op for basics. I would strongly recommend Ballycastle - great destination for a break, and a handy base for further travel.
We cannot say enough great things about Carnately Lodge and Natasha! We spent 2 weeks in Ireland and this was our favorite hotel. Not only was Natasha herself amazing, breakfast was delicious, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect. Natasha also helped us make dinner reservations at a terrific restaurant. The stay exceeded expectations and we look forward to returning in the future!
Highly recommend, we had a wonderful few days here, hotel was fab, gorgeous location with stunning views, rooms was really nice and we had a really lovely time here. Found all the staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the seaweed bath and hot tubs with amazing views, definitely a lovely treat. Will be back again to enjoy the super hotel😀
This property has everything you need and so much more! Located right at the heart of Ballycastle. Lots of restaurants, cafes and quick eats at walking distance. There’s even a little market a few blocks away.
The owners were very attentive and quick responding any questions or concerns. I would definitely stay here again!
- Fantastic location to visit Northern Ireland, a great bakery (Ursa Minor) at the front door for breakfast, amazing fish&chips nearby.
- It's a beautiful house. We felt totally at home, space for three people, one room en-suite, super comfy and clean. There is everything you need and more. A home away from home!
The Rose Garden Room with hot tub was perfect for a night away. Situated just a 20 min walk from Ballycastle centre.
The self contained studio had everything we needed.
Fiona is a great host, she was very accommodating to assist with us moving our booking.
Really recommend a stay here
The Cora Marine apartment was an excellent spot to stay on the Causeway! We had plenty of room to relax after busy days exploring. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy some take out meals - especially on the nice balcony area. Michael was a great easy to contact host!
Absolutely breathtaking property near Ballycastle that offers a wonderful glamping option. check in was smooth as it’s all contactless. there were great instructions on how to use everything. Add on options like a fire were great and added to the experience.
An excellent experience. An attentive host and excellent facilities, all in the great town of Ballycastle. It was a little bit like stepping back in time to the boarding houses of yesteryear, but with all facilities of 2023 at the same time. Brill
Perfect location, central to all the natural wonders of Northern Ireland and central to the town of Ballycastle. The grocery store is literally around the corner and there is plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short walking distance.
Natasha was very helpful with information about the area. She helped us with a dine in evening where we brought in cheese, wine and bread. The property has easy access to Ballycastle and surrounding attractions.
We were staying in the 6-bed room/ dorm with friends. The room is big enough, clean and the bathroom is well maintained. Beds are dormitory style, but ok to sleep (comparing to other N. Ireland hotels).
Our host was warm and welcoming, and the accommodations were comfortable and well supplied. It was just the kind of place we were looking to stay in in the Irish countryside.
Cosy and homely . Lady of house so friendly. Good parking near ballycastle. Just loved it . Friends over from aboard took them for a night away and they loved it too
