The room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The evening meal in the restaurant was mediocre. Breakfast was good.

Great value for money. Was expecting a tired old hotel, but this had .odeon fixtures and fittings, the carpets.looked.and smelt new, the fitness centre was very well equipped, the pool was a lovely temperature and the spa area was clean and well maintained. Steam room not working but the jacuzzi and sauna were lovely Would recommend for a relaxing weekend away.

Situated on the outskirts of Reading, the Roselawn Hotel boasts an advantageous location that is conveniently close to both the M4 motorway and the bustling city of Reading. The hotel's staff members have a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable stay for guests. The meals offered at the hotel are not only delicious but also provide excellent value for money, catering to the needs of budget-conscious travelers. While the decor may exude a nostalgic charm reminiscent of the 1970s and 80s, the rooms themselves offer a serene and peaceful atmosphere, allowing guests to unwind and relax.

The bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. I received a lovely greeting on arrival and was offered a choice of food. Fabulous bar area with a roaring fire. Breakfast was perfect. I was also given a takeaway coffee when I was heading home.

Stunning location and extremely large well appointed room. Bed was very comfortable. Two comfortable wing back chairs in the room which were a bonus. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Bathroom toiletries super high quality. Lots of little touches such as a nespresso machine in the room. Parking plentiful and free. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Beautifully finished little apartment. Lauren and Jamie have thought about everything you may need for your stay. From large fluffy towels, quality bed linen, toiletries through to all types cooking and serving utensils.
For us though, it’s the hosts themselves- so kind, helpful and thoughtful. They even took us to our concert and arranged taxi back later. Makes for a wonderful stay, so much better than a faceless corporate hotel. Thank you
Everything. Literally everything. The place is incredible, the staff are so friendly and looked after us extremely well. The rooms are so well designed and I actually had the best rest I've ever had in a hotel when I stayed here. The bar is great, the food is phenomenal. If I could give it 11out of 10, I would!
Great hotel in a lovely village. Staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived late Tuesday night and both staff members went out their way to help and a beer at the bar was most welcome after a 3 hour drive!
Nice touch having the drinks in the room too.
Lovely hotel/pub, great staff. Bedroom was beautiful with lovely complementary refreshments. Dinner as good quality (although limited for those with food intolerances i.e. lactose/gluten). Breakfast was delicious.
Lovely hotel with very accommodating staff as we were attending a wedding. Didn't have chance to explore much, but the breakfast was truly gorgeous! Would definitely recommend the food, and would return!
Lovely hotel with comfortable, clean room and very nice bathroom. Plenty of choice for breakfast - including well presented cooked breakfast. Nice, service minded staff. Would like to return soon.
