From time to time, you come across a B&B that goes way beyond to make your stay feel like home comfort. Les Bardinieres is one such place. Pam and her mad Swedish biker husband gave a warm welcome, even though we arrived late, and introduced us to their rustic but beautiful Gite.
Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay, one to happily remember, including a surprise bottle of very nice french wine and beer, to wash the croissants and French cheeses we bought earlier.
Very pet friendly with access to their large fields for exercise.
The double bedroom was very comfortable. However, the wood burning fireplace in the lounge made it extra cosy.
We would definitely stay again should our journey pass near on the way to and from Spain to UK.
Ps./
Liked the small night lights plugged in should one need to get up at night.

We stayed here as attended the Moto GP at Le Mans, it was a late booking on our behalf so affordable choices were limited, however......
This place was located next to the river, had a restaurant, bar and spa. As we arrived late, we had to book in at the restaurant (for the room), but the staff were confused and couldn't find our booking, but allocated us a room which was in a block on the first floor. This must have been our room as we went to reception the following day when we got back and there was no mention of an issue. The reception staff and indeed any that we came into contact with were very helpful, friendly and pleasant.
The room was comfortable and suited our needs.
The distance and ride between the hotel and Le Mans circuit was very straight forward and a nice ride so a good location.
We couldn't eat at the restaurant when we arrived, so had to go to a nearby town which was fine.
lots of parking, athough mainly gravel, they do have an area of hard ground should bikers want to park there.
The restaurant was nice and good value and the food was lovely.
We would stay again if we were in the area

Lovely self contained property in a beautiful setting. Lounge, kitchenette and two self contained bedrooms. There was one other guest there as well but that was no more than you’d get in any other chambre d’hote or hotel.
Charming hosts and they’d even put some beer in the fridge for us. We ate our supper in the garden in the shade of a lovely tree listening to the birds sing.
