The host told so many lies about my stay.She knew I didn’t have a car and I asked for only one trip to buy my groceries but she didn’t want this.There weren’t any taxis and that’s why the local took me home.I did notify the host.My plane was late which I explained to her.This is so wrong she gives this explanation.

Really lovely place to visit but you only need two to three days there to see everything. Lovely art galleries and shops. The best place to eat was Le Tilleul run by Maxine and his team. Fabulous food and really great service ! Avoid the Colomb D'Or restaurant - overpriced and very basic food. A basket of raw unpeeled vegetables in a basket with a tiny tiny bowl of pate for €40 ! Go and see Atelier Tanagra - lovely artwork, and her recommendation for the Craquelin from Patisserie Palanque in nearby Vence has to be followed.CatherineUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

St Paul is a beautiful historic village, full of art galleries & quirky shops selling lovely local produce. It's an ideal place to spend a day just wandering the cobbled streets & relaxing with a cold drink to admire the views of the countryside. Several good restaurants. cosy atmosphere with folks playing boules at the Place de General de Gaulle. The hotel has a small number of rooms and is well appointed with a good breakfast and wonderful pool area. The location was amazing, just above St Paul de Vence, a beautiful town. The pool was clean, plenty of loungers available, no having to bagsie a bed! The towels were huge and there were lovely shady areas in the garden which was well looked after with beautiful planters and trees. A truly tranquil spot. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The rooms are decorated in 18th century style and are absolutely lovely. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are nice. The staff are exceptional; they are thoughtful and generous. We are an older couple, and they went out of their way to help us with our bags and parking. They also gave us an exceptional room upgrade. We highly recommend this hotel. It is a perfect place to stay.

This place has so much atmosphere and is decorated with so much love. It's ideally located with marvelous restaurants within walking distance and Nice airport is just a 20-30 minutes taxi drive away. The short walk to st paul de vence is so nice and romantic, this is the perfect getaway for a long weekend.
