The rooms are modest but large enough, with bathrooms you can actually use without contortions. The furniture is modest as well, but the linens are fresh and the bed comfy. What made it memorable was the owner and her staff, who worked har$ to understand my limited French. Dinner and breakfast can be included with a demi-pension or added. Bith meals were pleasant. Relish the pleasure of using an actual key instead of a card. Located in the center of town, the tabac and bar are a local gathering place with abundant choices of beer and wine.

I loved the history, grounds, pool, linens/bed and bathroom. The hotel itself was beautiful. The dining room was beautiful. The room was comfortable and eve bed and pillows were superb. The bathroom was renovated and had a great shower.
