Mirmande is adorable and so fun to walk around in.
Mirmande is adorable and so fun to walk around in. The tourist office gave us a self guided walking map that meanders up moss covered stairways and down narrow cobblestone streets. Even in the off season we were able to get amazing dinners. I recommend having a car as it costs around 50 euros to get to and from the train station by taxi, but it is worth a visit. I recommend staying at Hotel de Mirmande.

Very beautiful historic village.
Very beautiful historic village. Such a nice atmosphere and a very good choice of restaurants. I was on a one night stopover between Switzerland and the south of France . It proved to be an ideal place to break the journey.
Part of one of 'les plus beaux villages de France', the hotel is located in the beautiful setting of Mirmande. The interior carefully designed. Very pleasant atmosphere. We had a very spacious room with a large balcony (we were lucky to get an upgrade); view on the garden, part of the village and the surrounding landscape. Excellent place for a lovely evening. Very nice breakfast room. We loved our stay.
Mirmande is indeed one of the most beautiful towns in France, and we can definitely recommend a visit. Our room was quite small and had no air condition (we didn't notice when we booked it), and the heat was almost unbearable in July. Luckily, there was a fan, and the lovely surroundings made up for it.
We were there for 2 nights with 1 baby and 1 kid during our journey heading south. The place is very nice with a lot of fruit trees and near to a very scenic village called Mirmande. The host is very friendly and tried her best to accommodate our needs for our children. The breakfast is very nice.
The location was great and the building was beautiful. Our room was huge and very well appointed, with an excellent view. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Mirmande was a delight. A big public parking area was a few metres away.
I was in Mirmande for a friends wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Maison Jules Goux. Stunning location, friendly and helpful hosts, generous breakfast, and spotlessly clean. I hope to visit again.
A beautiful French classical architectural style hotel and an amazing little village. The hotel staff could not have been nicer and the food in the nearby restaurant was superb.
