Beautiful old house. Wonderfully renovated by the owner. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated and everything we needed was provided. The bed was so comfortable!! The shower room was excellent. Allison the host was friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was great.

An amazing stay at a beautiful guesthouse at the edge of the renowned village of Verteuil-sur-Charente with its wonderful chateau. Mylene and Cor were exceptional hosts, full of great advice and very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to a busy day exploring the wonderful scenery around this area. Great restaurants locally and still easily accessible to bigger towns nearby. Suzi and Jon have restored an old farmhouse, creating a perfect environment for all types of guests from family to solo professional and business-related. A comfortable evening and night is guaranteed and the atmosphere of the house provides a strong sense of calm and restfulness. The farmyard is now a lawn and there is plenty of space for children to enjoy themselves in the grounds, with a swimming pool and other amenities. Jupe the dog is endlessly good company. I enjoyed my stay and wish I could have stayed longer.
