The hotel provided all you could wish for. The rooms are large and equipped with everything essential you need. The hotel garden and its premises are well kept and you'll find your place to relax. Be that at one of the pools or spa or at one of the many garden tables or deckchairs. I liked the fact that the hotel isn't in the village itself, therefor it peaceful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. To Malaucéne it's a 1.6 km walk. At the hotel there is a storage place, which you can look, to put your bicycle if you bring one along. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Large, comfortable bed and en-suite in separate section of owners bungalow. Great view and gardens, there is a fridge and microwave in his utility space. Cups and kettle in room. Breakfast is excellent on the terrace. The owner has good English - ask him about his previous working life (you will never guess!). Quiet area short 5-10 minute walk from the village centre. Great for a short stay. Secure area for bikes - many hire spots in the village.

Spacious appartement close to the main square. Well equipped kitchen. Easy way of getting in and out (box for keys).
We love visiting Malaucene. The cycling in the area is fantastic and it's easy to drive to other places such as Arles, Avignon, Orange. We ate at a variety of restaurants, all pretty good - The Blueberry, Chez Max and The Terrace are our favourites.

Probably the best little town in the area.
Probably the best little town in the area.
Lively, with lots of shops, market and plenty of restaurant choice.
Perfect location for cycling the wine valleys and Mont Ventoux, and around 6 cycle shops to get kit and bike service etc.
Cost wise its very reasonable (not held hostage for price like other resorts)

This Appartment is in an excellent location: close the village center, but in the quiet small street. Parking in front of the house on the street! Fully equipped, nothing is missing. A special cellar room to lock the bikes. Ideal as a Mount Ventoux biking base. Huge dinning room, complete kitchen! Comforable ideal for 4, max 6 person. Perfect communication with the owner. I do really recommend. Jan

Lovely little traditional town with good selection of restaurants and guest houses. There was a large market there on Wednesday morning with a great selection of crafts, food and clothes. Highly recommended for cyclists targeting Mont Ventoux and good location to explore the region.

We enjoyed a remarkable visit at La Madelene, with beautiful, comfortable rooms in a gorgeous country setting. Phillip and Jude are extremely gracious hosts. We did a wine tour with Phillip that was terrific and included a fantastic meal prepared by Jude. It worked quite well for us to take the TGV from Paris to Avignon and rent a car in Avignon to reach La Madelene. Highly recommend!
The apartment is new built being in very nice condition. There are two swimming pools in the courtyard, they are shared with other apartments. The smaller pool is shallow and is perfect for children. The apartment has a small garden with terrace and nice green grass, suitable for outdoor dinners. City center can be reached relatively easily. The apartman is well-equiped.
The hosts are very kind and helpful.
Nice view! Very cozy and clean!
Small hotel, so it's very quiet!
Breakfast was great as well.
What we liked best, was the option to get food from the small boutique shop that you could then prepare yourself and eat on the terrace. So you can fully enjoy the hotel and the nice landscape.
Also, the owner was very nice and helpful when we arrived!
Perfect for a little stopover so me and kids could recharge after the journey and just chill by the pool and for the hubby to cycle up Ventoux in the 30+ degree heat! Lovely having a coffee / orangina and a mooch in Malaucene, felt very welcome, very tourist friendly village and beautiful x
Room light and generous size.
Breakfast in nice outdoor setting. Friendly breakfast staff.
Dinners great , particular mention must go to Belgian couple who provided fantastic service & food on first dinner of stay.
Hotel location away from tourist crowds. Safe bicycle storage.
A small, but full 4 story house. Excellent location in the main street of Malaucène, at walking distance of a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bike shops. And only 100 meters from the start of the climb to the Mont Ventoux.
This is not a full service hotel. No restaurant except breakfast. Bar and “store” where tou could buy cold food to be microwaved closed at 7:00pm. Big room but just not our thing. Quiet and off the bearen path.
The ladies who run the hotel were super friendly and looked after us well. Food was good as well. Had fun learning some new French words with the lady who served us breakfast.
The manager could not have been more helpful and met each and every request we had. We went for a cycling holiday and for this the property and it's manager were exceptional
my first holiday solo, Marie welcomed me. Le Pigeonnier is so perfect, beautiful, light and airy, just off the Main Street. I cannot wait to visit again
