Great for a one night stay when travelling too and from the channel crossings, there is a lot of history in the village which deserves another or longer visit. The Hotel is a bit dated, everything worked including the lovely powerful shower. Found the beds comfortable will use the Hotel again and explore the Fort 100 meter across from the Hotel.

Excellent location, lots of space, well appointed and very quiet. There was everything you needed, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware, the apartment was very comfortable, and bakeries, restaurants and shops were all only a short walk away.

We went for the Christmas market.
We went for the Christmas market. Friday evening was disappointing but the Saturday night was great with lots of atmosphere. We didn't really look at the shops or bars when we were there. The town itself is fascinating as it is walled and has bags of history. There is also plenty of free parking. We would consider returning there to look at the museum and other interests there.... however, it will be in the warmth of summer!

We used it as a stop off for the Tunnel.
We used it as a stop off for the Tunnel. It's about 30 mins from the terminal. There seem to be some nice restaurants about and the beach is magnificent. What it would be like in the rain and cold I don't know but I would stop off there again

This was a perfect location to get to the ferry and right on the beach for a lovely walk. The room, was a little small, but it had 3 beds and we just needed a place to lay out heads until the next day. I also liked that they have free onsite parking. Short drive to "centre" of Gravelines which is ok for a drink although eating possibilities are limited. Alternatively short drive to the beach at Fort Philippe, good for walking and more bars/restaurants. Overall the village is well located for getting DFDS Dunkirk ferry to Dover, (terminal about 10-15 minutes drive away).
