The location was excellent in the centre of the village. The view from the room was absolutely out of this world.

Beautifully appointed, spacious accommodation, in traditional style, creates a relaxing environment for a stay in Domme. Offering wonderful views from their terrace via the delightful garden which has a pool and seating for guests use. A lovely library is also offered to guests to relax in too. Optional breakfast has a variety of fresh local produce on offer. Charming hosts in Helen & Francois. Due to an unexpected incident, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, (due to the language difference) this help was greatly appreciated by us as we would have struggled without their kindness and time. We cannot thank them enough.
Located in Domme, chambre de madel provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. This bed and breakfast features a garden and panoramic views on the Bastide de Domme and the Dordogne Valley.

The owners are super friendly and make you feel really welcome here. The rooms are generously and practically furnished, and there is quite a lot of space. A tasty breakfast and the possibility to make coffee or tea though the day. A neat location in a forest on a hill slope just opposite the historical center of Domme, with a charming view from the windows. Each member of our family enjoyed this place, and we would be very happy to come back.
Boasting a garden and views of garden, Maison Maleville is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Domme, 13 km from Sarlat-la-Canéda Train Station.

The maison malleville was a great surprise. We are walking the Harrison Barker way in the Dordogne and booked the room because of the photos on the Internet. The house is in the centre of Domme, with medieval foundations and a lovely garden with a view over the valley and hills. It has been restored with a lot of care and I loved the mixture of old and modern. Only after we had checked in did we see that Bertrand could also do supper and so a bit at the last minute we had a simple and delicious meal by candlelight in the garden. A memory to be treasured. We will certainly come back here when we are next in the Dordogne. Strongly recommended. Alex

Domme was a beautiful town.
Domme was a beautiful town. Out of season there is little open but you can see what a vibrant town it would be once the tourists arrive. In the few shops that were open everyone was very friendly and gave us tips of what to see and where to visit. There was an amazing book shop that was open. Even out of season it is a lovely town to wander around with one or two bars open for a coffee etc.

We have spent two hours in this village.
We have spent two hours in this village. We walked through a few streets, enjoyed the panoramic view over the river, visited the old Romanesque church, checked an antiquarian book shop (where our kids bought some English books), and stopped for pancakes in Gourmandises Café (with nice personnel and tasty food). We liked the atmosphere, which felt simultaneously historic and relaxed. One feels like in a fairy tale in this village. Fortunately, there were not many tourists at the end of October (despite the fall school vacations in France). In particular, one could easily park their car in the village without any difficulty. Then we continued our journey to the Marqueyssac gardens...

Domme was a wonderful city - close to sites, but quieter than many other popular cities in the area. We found wonderful restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. The view from the esplanade is amazing!

Charming midieval town, built on a STEEP hill.
Charming midieval town, built on a STEEP hill. Wonderful restaurants are nearby, especially if you have car. Domme's market and nearby Sarlat's are a fun source of souvenirs. We found driving to sites (ancient caves, other interesting towns) to be stressful. Many were nearly an hour away through narrow, winding, mountain roads that went through mostly agricultural areas and tiny towns that seemed closed up.
The accommodation exceed our expectations in all aspects. Nicole and Jean Pierre are the best hosts we’ve ever met, super friendly, kind and sweet with our girls. We felt at home. The apartment is so nice! The interior is amazing, very comfortable, clean and stylish. The terrace and garden are beautiful. The view is stunning! And the breakfast super delicious! The location is super convenient, there are many nice towns close by, eg Domme, Sarlat, Vezac, etc. We didn’t do it but it’s the perfect location to go biking or canoeing.
The breakfast was adequate. If you are expecting a full English breakfast, you will be disappointed. This is a French breakfast and an excellent one . . . but different. Enjoy it for what it is. Honestly, the location can't be beat. You are near Domme and Sarlat-la-Caneda, the Dordogne River and several of the French Plus Beaux Villages but at night it is peaceful and away from all the tourist mania of the area. Very restful. The host and hostess were delightful and very helpful.
My wife and I spent 7 nights at 1 logis à Domme, using the hotel as a base for exploring the Dordogne. It's not an exaggeration to say that this was one of the most delightful places we've stayed anywhere in the world. The palatial room and bath; the lovely garden; the pool and spa; the superb breakfasts; the cozy library; the breathtaking views. Most of all, the attention and friendship of the gracious hosts, Hélène and François, made this an incomparable experience.
The hotel is situated so that it overlooks the valley below. Beautiful views that you will remember a life time
The owners of the hotel and restaurant are there everyday and are very very nice and they try to make your visit the best time and place you will ever have.
The rooms are very comfortable and the rooms on the valley side have fantastic views
The hotel also has a restaurant with great food
The hotel is right n the center of a picturesque village, it was difficult finding parking during the day but by 6 pm plenty of side streets.
The room was a little dated but clean, bathroom with shower, small tv high on the wall.
For the price very good value for money, I would use it again,
Just 20 minutes from sarlat and some beautiful villages nearby which are a must to visit.
Maison Maleville is a great base to explore the rest of Dordogne. Just being in Domme is the right decision but having a host like Bertrand who is invested in making sure you have a great stay, makes it even better. Get dinner at L'Esplannade with nice views and awesome food. There is a nice market 200 feet away on Thursdays which has local foie gras, cheese and much more.
The attention to detail, quality design, spaciousness, fully equipped kitchen, sufficient fluffy towels, airco and the unexpected blessing of an ice machine. Perfectly clean and the private outdoor space was lovely. Excellent location for exploring Domme/region, situated on one of the prettiest streets. Thank you, we loved our stay!
The owners were extremely accommodating and allowed us to set our own hours as to when breakfast was available. The room was private with its own terrace from which the town of Domme can be seen on top of a hill. The landscaping around the property is very lush and gorgeous in the springtime.
The location was perfect! It is a beautiful old home decorated nicely. It was spacious with everything you need. Contact with the property is easy and efficient. It is our first time in France and made for a perfect impression and start.
The location is perfect. Domme is a small town and you can walk to everything. Breakfast was not included but we had a kitchen and easily purchased coffee, milk, etc. for the morning. The hosts are friendly and available if needed.
Whilst the hotel has no catering facilities, the kitchenette was very well supplied. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly. The Spa and Wine Bar, once open, will be fantastic! Room issues dealt with promptly.
The hosts, Jane and Duncan, were warm, welcoming and helpful. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. Wonderful breakfasts and Jane's dinners rivaled fine restaurants. And the resident pets were friendly and fun.
Excellent breakfast. The hosts are a charming couple who go the extra mile to welcome and assist you to have a wonderful time in and around Domme. A truly delightful experience. Thank you so much.
A very quiet and peaceful location. The house was very big and spacious. Marianne was very welcoming. The location was perfect for visiting Domme, 5 minutes by car away.
Fabulous hosts, wonderful large room in a historic building in the heart of the village. Couldn't be better for a visit to Domme. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Great position, and a pleasant room. Very small bathroom. Incredible views from the room (looking northwest). Hotel is a bit tired thought and needs an update,
