The hotel is alive at night. At least 100 people enjoying a surprisingly good dinner - applause for the chef.

Stunning building in beautiful garden, and in a great location for exploring this part of Provence. The village is small with few facilities, but lovely and peaceful. The restaurant at the hotel serves excellent breakfast, and the dinners are quite simply superb. A set menu is provided on reception in the morning for you to peruse. Probably the best food I've ever eaten, and therefore incredible value for money. The young chef is excellent. Meals are taken outside in the garden, which is just delightful. The staff are friendly, and parking is easy within the grounds of the hotel.
The "Domaine des Escaunes" is located in the middle of the triangle Avignon-Nîmes- Uzes.

Beautifully secluded property oozing the charm of the South of France. As far as the location is concerned, I would definitely go again for longer.
The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.
We were there overnight on our travels and everything was perfect for that.
The restaurant was closed so the proprietor recommended and arranged another one in the area which we really enjoyed.

The room was modern and spotless..Our host Guillaume was friendly and accommodating..
We were arriving late and he made sure we had the correct details to enter the hotel and room.
The hotel is the closest to Pont du Gard, just a few minutes walk away. and saves having to pay for parking there.
We were able to check out past the normal time no problem as we spent longer than anticipated at the bridge, you could spend hours at the site and along the river bu unfortunately we had to move on..
I am sure once the renovation is complete the hotel will be even better.

One night stay as we were unable to book the properties before or after for longer. Near Avignon, very quiet and rural setting. There is a big supermarket on the way out of Avignon if you want to stock up. Lovely pool, bit fresh by end of September unsurprisingly. Mosquitoes at night but hosts had left candle and coils very fortunately. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Convertible sofa bed downstairs. Bathroom excellent. Kitchen fine, stove top only not oven but we discovered pain au chocolat heat up in a frying pan pretty well! Very clean. Thierry met us on arrival and showed us around, Marie was unwell but kindly came out to see us off the next morning and let us out of the electronic gate.
