I was on a walking holiday, staying in a different place every night for 15 nights: meaning that I have a lot to compare it to. My chalet was certainly the most unusual place that I stayed in, looking like a kind of glamping old-fashioned gypsy caravan. It was small, but very cosy, the shower was amazingly strong with plenty of hot water and the chalet was surrounded by water, with a lake on one side and a stream on the other. It was very good value and the host gave me an upgrade at no extra charge.
