The staff, headed by Tifan, the location the ambiance, the food - what an experience - never to be forgotten. The tides that were AMAZING! In the afternoon when the tides were out many boats were resting on the sand and then in the morning they were surounded by water!
Located in the heart of Cancale Port, La Mère Champlain offers modern accommodations by the English Channel.

Really wonderful people. Excellent dinner and dessert. The bed was not as comfortable as I’d hoped… The pillows should be better and the mattress should be better. Lighting could be better otherwise I just love the place.
Located in a flowery park, half a mile from the harbor and the picturesque port town of Cancale, Hotel Nuit et Jour features a spa, sauna, swimming pool and fitness area.

The hotel is very clean, the bed was comfortable. The room is small and bathroom is tiny. The breakfast this am was good.
This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel.

Cancale is a nice small town and the apartment was situated in a very small and nice place where it was possible to both drive to viewpoint and do hiking experience. the surroundings are very beautiful and interesting and the quality of oysters are exceptional. when loving seafood and French kitchen it is a very awful place to visit.

Good town Centre with interesting small shops, everything close by. The seafront has excellent views of the sea , the Mont St Michel and the famous oyster beds. Oysters were everywhere ,tastyand reasonable priced, straight out of the sea. A delight.
One problem was lack of parking in the evenings close to the restaurants. The walk down from the upper town is 5 to 10 minutes if you are able bodied. Steep if old.
Lots of restaurants on the front ,some good value.
Overall a very enjoyable long weekend.

A very busy port with limited parking which was always full on the front regardless of the time of day. Great selection of restaurants at the port and small cafe/bars up the hill in town. Stunning church. Good market on a Thursday evening from 1730. Local produce and craft stalls. We were staying just out of town, a 15 minutes walk downhill to the port. On our second night we discovered the Tuk Tuk service from the front - 4 euros per person to our location, 2.50 back into town. Cancale is a good base for discovering that area ofr Brittany. Take the D155 along the bay, a lovely road with stunning views and a chance to sample oysters and mussels along the way.

Car Parking is available close by, but it can be a little expensive, if you drive down the promenade a little you can park your car for very much less, Worth knowing. for overnight or several Days of Stays, as the Hotels there do not in many cases have Car Parks, but it is a beautiful part of Normandie, you will love it. Do Eat at the Hotel Capellan de Mere. , the food there is superb and very reasonable. P.S. You can stay there and.
they have Sea View with Balcony Rooms available.

Lovely town with plenty of bars and restaurants, beautiful harbour to sit and eat the oyster and drink the champagne you can buy from the vendors. Lovely and friendly
We ate at Le Phare which was fantastic and have eaten at Chez Victor before that in another trip
Exceptional hosts, kind and very caring of their clients. Particular attention to excellent service even with fewer personnel, truly wonderful! And location was superb! The Michelin star restaurant was also a superb plus as well as a table was provided tonus as hotel clients even though many were many clients waiting. Only slight downside is that it was very warm (perhaps unseasonably) AC would eventually be a nice addition, but windows open were enough of a solution for the time.
We were lucky again to be in a room with a dual aspect view - one window looking out to sea and the other looking down the beachfront street. So incredibly beautiful - no wonder absolutely everybody was flocking there for whole days at a time. Nice restaurant with delicious food but the hotel is also surrounded by many eateries of various kinds and suited to purses of all sizes. And only a few steps from our room onto the beach!
Great place to stay in Cancale. The rooms are spacious, new, clean and very well-designed. The breakfast is great with a lot of great choices both from the hostess and the local bakery. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Petite Emeraude is located fairly close to Cancale and not that far away from other great places (St Malo, Dinan and Mt St Michel), so it was a great base for exploring this part of Brittany.
Fantastic apartment in the heart of Cancale (Port). we stayed here over Xmas. Host was exceptionally helpful and the flat wonderful. Shops, restaurants and oysters market are very near. there is also the option for using the house garage which is very convenient.
We really enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend enough!
Perfect location in heart of the port of Cancale- next to all restaurants and cafes- our studio apartment had a sea view and was very bright.
Hosts / owners were very nice and ready to help with anything.
Food at their restaurant below was excellent, as per 7 of us! We all agreed our dinner was delicious
The location was perfect for us, next door to an excellent restaurant and parking was available at the hotel which was a huge bonus in such a busy place. The bed was big and comfortable and breakfast plentiful and good value. the owner could not have been nicer nor more helpful.
Our room was small and dated BUT we had a great balcony - with an awning - right over the harbor. Watching the tides change is fascinating. Public parking available in the lot nearby. Hotel has a very good restaurant, and there are lots of other options with a short walk.
Location on a promontory north of Cancale with fabulous views of the ocean and, on a clear day, Mont St. Michel is hard to beat. Excellent restaurant and warm, friendly staff
The staff was warm and welcoming.
the beds were comfortable
the breakfast delicious
the pet friendly environment was nice
kind to English speakers
nice walk to Cancale
Location is great. I loved to wake up and see the ocean. The room is spacious with a big and confortable bed. The bathroom is also very specious with modern fixtures.
Lucky that there was space in the municipality parking in front of the hotel. The view is nice but the location over a busy road cancels this out to some extent.
Hotel located in very centre of city, parking /payable/in from.Room quite basic. It is a lot of restaurants around, but hotel restaurant is really very very good.
