Just Minutes from the Magic
Bussy-Saint-Georges has the key benefit of being on the RER train line between the French capital and Disneyland Paris, Europe’s most popular theme park. The town is one of the more recent additions to the landscape east of Paris and its name is thought to refer to the woodland that once covered the land. It is still relatively green today and is surrounded by countryside and small parks and lakes.
Most of the Bussy-Saint-Georges accommodation lies between the Marne River and the A4 motorway which connects to the Paris ring road. Being just that little bit further away from the delights of Disney, the hotels with pools, traditional B&Bs and apartments are on the whole cheaper than those nearer the parks.
The Bussy Saint-Georges golf course provides a peaceful spot to work on your swing, and sitting at the centre of neighbouring Guermantes Park is a private castle. Sea Life Paris is a popular aquarium within a complex housing the huge Val d’Europe shopping centre, both easily accessed by car and RER. This region is known for brie production and you can pick up some tasty samples here.

Bussy-St-Georges is what the French call "citée-dortoir".
Bussy-St-Georges is what the French call "citée-dortoir". Just block of flats, which look like a set to film a TV sitcom. Its only redeeming value is proximity to Disneyland Paris via public transport.
The city is probably relatively safe, even at night, but there are signs of social tensions. For some reason, the city seems to be popular amongst Asian or Chinese people. There is a large Chinese supermarket and most restaurants are Asian. Then there are people with black skin sitting in the streets and some of them had drunk far too much when we came back at night. The police was present checking people when we arrived in the afternoon on our first day.
Please note that I am just describing the situation as I experienced it and make no judgement whatsoever. All these people may be French regardless of their appearance, for example.

We stayed here for our trip to Disneyland, there is a supermarket by the train station and several bakeries and restaurants around as well, which is great. There are regular buses to the train station and then regular trains to Disneyland, and the public transport is cheap.

Lovely wee place although struggled to find a French restaurant for evening meal. Lovely lady at Turkish eatery told us of fireworks in park one evening which we attended. Great train service into central Paris. We flew into Orly (cheapest flights considerably) best option was to transfer by taxi, we have been advised if we return that CdeG is easier.

Firstly, the bedroom is really cozy, clean and adécuate for resting after a long day of activities. It really is 3 minutes walk away from the train satiation and the commute to Disney parcs is pretty straightforward.
The host is kind and we’ll organized, she made sure that I had a good stay and the apartment is very clean and calm. The bedroom has its own private shower with all the amenities that I needed. It had a good view from its window and since I was travelling alone, the bedroom had enough space for me.
I highly recommend it.
I got detailed instructions as to what to do on arrival and that was great, the room and beds are comfortable, there were tea and coffee supplied and things you'd need to cook a meal.
We stayed here for our five day trip to Disneyland and getting there and back is very easy from the property:
The property is near two busstops (22 and 44) that for €2pp take you to the train station where you take the RER (for €2.55pp) directly to Marne le Vallee where you exit directly in front of the disneyland park entrance!
The property is close to the train station and supermarket. It's only 6 mins to Disneyland in one direction and about 30 mins from the centre of Paris. Train tickets are not expensive and the trains are frequent. Our three kids could all sleep in the same room and the beds were clean. Parking is secure so no concerns there. The owner came to repair broken items and was great at communication. They even let us in early which was much appreciated after a long drive with kids!
We loved staying at this beautiful property. It was nice and clean, but also kid friendly. There was a high chair and cot and kids plates and cups etc. There was tons of informational signs to help you understand how to use thing which was really helpful. It was a short walk to the RER which gave us easy access to Disneyland Paris and the city. It was nice to have parking on site. We had great communication with the host who was really helpful!
Great location for a trip to Disneyland. Train station is 5 minutes walk away from the flat, and you're in Disneyland after 10 minutes ride.
It's possible to easily park a car for free alongside the avenue right by the flat.
Efficient communication with the host. The flat was clean and contained all advertised amenities. The beds and pillows are comfortable.
The flat is nice, comfortable and located close to the station. There’re a very close stores and restaurants all around. Disneyland, the mall of La Vallée Village and Val d’Europe are close and they can be reached by train in about 10 minutes. Paris can be reached easily by the train. The city is clean and secure. I highly recommend this flat.
Location is excellent and near to the train station. Nice host and always available for any queries. We had an issue with toilet flush and he immediately came and fixed it for us. For our group and we are 9, still it is comfortable and large space to move around. Importantly it is cheaper compared with other properties around.
Nice apartment, everything you need including a spacious terrace . Extremely close to the train station RER A, the trains are silent so don't worry about the noise. Supermarkets , butchery, bakery around. You are 40 min away from Paris and 10 min from Disneyland. Self check-in.
The apartament it is big and good for a family stay. There is space for the kids and the house is cozy and warm. A good place to stay for those how want to know Disneyland or even go to Paris. The metro station is really close what makes everything easier.
I got gouged by this hotel for a booking because my other hotel I was staying at also screwed up my booking. they charged double for a room night than their regular rate. even though we were desperate and had no where else to go they still overcharged.
The apartment was big and comfortable for a family who doesn´t want to stay in a small room of Parisian hotels. You can take the RER (train) to Paris Champs Elysees (40minutes), to Disneyland 7 minutes. Perfect is the private parking in the garage.
Close to train station….we were visiting Disney for two days and stayed overnight here.
Lots of car park space.
Helpful reception, good breakfast and very clean hotel.
Would recommend
Apartment was well equipped, spacious and comfortable.
There is a very nice petisserie near by (cake citron), careffour market, and RER station.
Having a parking is also great!
Basic hotel convenient due to it is close to Disneyland. 2 stations from Disney. It is next to the highway. It has a mc donalds very close (10min walking).
