It was an apartment hotel so we had space and could cook. The view was to a small river. Breakfast provided was value for its cost.

Pontevedra is a must on anyone's list visiting the north of Spain. I have fallen in love with the town and will definitely be back when I can. It is clean and has an old town charm about it and very easy to get around. Loads of history and also enough to keep you busy on an evening for a night filled with tapas and wine. Also, best churros I have ever had.

The people in Pontevedra were lovely.
The people in Pontevedra were lovely. Very friendly & helpful. Food & drink were value for money & always good quality. It feels very ‘Spanish’ & not too touristy. Totally recommend for a mainland stay.

Pontevedra is a very pretty city. The old town area is large and stylish and has all the tourist needs like amazing food and drink places, accommodation, markets and shops and it's been fully pedestrianised. Also is surrounded by amazing beaches and trekking paths.

Pontevedra has a charming old city center, with its two-storied houses and its porticoes. As a pilgrim, I recommend a visit to the cathedral and to the monastery complex, and a casual stroll about the streets. Though I know there is much more to see and to do in Pontevedra besides passing by. There are restaurants for every taste, ranging from fast food and pizzas to the local gastronomy, which is very rich and tasty - the fish and the octopus. If there is one thing I really didn't like (at all), it was the bus station, which looks abandoned. If you must travel by bus, you'd better go directly to the bus parking place and try to find someone to talk to over there - or ask a bus driver.

Pontevedra (and surrounding areas) is a must to visit.
Pontevedra (and surrounding areas) is a must to visit. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed - so a great place to go if you want to get away. It has history, culture and the walk along the river is priceless (either for sport or just to relax). The people are great too. Pontevedra is a great city to walk in (you can tell there's been a big push for pedestrians in preference to cars!)

Great city to visit, well of the tourist trail.
Great city to visit, well of the tourist trail. Lots of bars & restaurants, especially in the old city. Did a trip to the Atlantic coast which was well worth the effort. Stunning views out to the islands.
I was saturated and cold when I arrived. They rushed through the preliminaries (passport etc) and shoed me to my room. The hot shower (shared bathroom) was a life saver.
The room was minimalistic and clean. Comfortable enough, but who travels to stay in a room. Cafe's, restaurants, bank's, supermarkets and bars were in very close proximity. The Camino route was very close and easy to find. Something of a luxury in Spain.
The wind was howling outside, but the room temperature was comfortable enough to wear t-shirt and shorts.
Excellent location. Walkable to everything in Pontevedra. We were racing in a large triathlon and it was easy to get to everything. We heard of other athletes having their bookings cancelled last minute so that their host could re-list at a higher price, but we did not have any issues and we were very grateful. Host communicated effectively and everything went smoothly. Met a few neighbors as we were there for a few days and everyone was friendly.
Pontevedra is an amazing small city with an excellent vibe. Slow City Hostel is close to historical must sees as well as shops, restaurants and bars. Jorge was passionate about his city and glad to share context. Laundry onsite. 3 euros for a wash. Six for a wash/ dry. Kitchen supplies for cooking were sufficient. Within two small blocks of rejoining the Camino and closer to the bridge out of Pondevedra than other options.
This hotel is ideal to visit the remarkable medieval town of Pontevedra. It's in a very quiet part of the town where it's easy to park and is about a kilometre away from the main monuments of the old part of the town. The room was very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The breakfast included with the price was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an excellent hotel for the price.
The apartment was large and comfortable for our group of four. A lounge to relax in and dining table; 2 bathrooms. Washing machine with detergent a welcome bonus. Close to supermarkets and the town and Camiño path. Kitchen with kettle (which we find is uncommon in Spain) and full size freezer. Owner Adrian went out of his way to arrange a taxi for us at late notice - we were very grateful.
Friendly and clean urban hotel on the camino right in the centre of Pontevedra. Triple room was very small but no problem for 1 night. Good restaurant too. Staff helped me to bring coffee up to the room for relaties lying in. With morning coffee a small juice and a churro was served for free. Very kind.
This is a fantastic property. it exceeded our expectations in every way. Best place we have stayed in Spain. beautiful location, comfortable, spacious, modern conveniences. Highly recommend! great beds and on the Camino trail.
the best thing is that it is just outside Pontevedra train station. it is clean and fairly new, with some signs of wear. Room size is fairly standard for such hotels here.
Great location in center of Pontevedra. Property was modern and clean with washing machine which was god send. The owner was very friendly and was able to help us with
Everything- a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Pilar was a perfect host.
