A very welcoming family hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the garden with pool and jacuzzi was a beautiful place to rest after a bike ride. We look forward to coming back with Pyrenees Cycling Club

The apartament is simply furnished but clean, bright and spacious equipped with everything you might need. The bed is enormous and very comfortable. The shower hot and powerful. Nice spaces outside to enjoy the sun. Ignasi was very welcoming. We will definitely return

Mtresa, the host was amazing. She could not do enough to help. Super friendly and a great place to stay. She let me check in early when I asked if I could drop my bag in. I asked for a hairdryer and an iron and she provided both in my room for me . Great kitchen and lounge/diner if you want to prepare your own food and a cafe just accross the road. Lovely outdoor space to share as well. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and the centre of the town. Will definitely stay again.

Palamos is traditionally Spanish. Full of character.
Palamos is traditionally Spanish. Full of character. Excellent food - try Trias for Menu del Dia but there are loads of restaurants to choose from. El Castellet overlooking the bay is a great bar Can Joan for coffee and cake.
The town is also known for its Tapas bars - so many to choose from (but some do close in the winter)
Great Tuesday Market.

It is a very dusty location due to the fact that there is a lot of sand/earth area.
The cars get all dirty.
The beach is very windy which raises a lot of dust due to the sand having a lot of small and very dirty stones.
On windy days we are all dirty at any time of the day due to the constant dust.

We were fascinated, that you can still find nowadays such a perfect combination in a lovely old charismatic hostel with a huge terace and restaurant on the beach.) Great location, no traffic, not too far from centre, everybody very charming and helpful, parking close to the hotel in a big private area in shade underneath trees, clean ocean in a beautiful surrounding. Also enjoying a rich and healthy breakfast buffet. Too bad, we couldn't have stayed longer.

Palamós itself is a much bigger resort but staying in La Fosca is a lovely location. Easy walk in to Palamós centre for a greater choice of quality restaurants and a change of scene. Beautiful easy walks along the coastal path from La Fosca bring you to stunning coves and quieter beaches. We stayed in Girona for the first few days of our holiday, it was the perfect combination.

Was able to walk all around the town & harbour.
Also was able to walk to Saint Antonio, plus the bus takes you round for 5 Euros you can hop on and off as much
As you want
Only negative big hunt to exchange money, the hotel and banks do not - finally found an exchange/ by chance the travel information centre didn’t know, it was in a rental facility very poor exchange rate

Enjoyed the combination of the sea/beach, hiking, sunbathing and also wandering on the streets of Palamos. Been there for a weekend and it was the perfect destination for the perfect amount of time. Hiking on the shoreline from bay to bay is a particular highlight, might get back from more.
The hospitality of Ignasi and Martha is exceptional. They gave us such valuable advice to visit Palamos and the costa Brava. The breakfast was delicious with fresh products ! The place is super clean. The first night they organized an African dance which was really nice with an amazing teacher. We ended up spending an amazing time . I would really recommend this place to family and friends. Thanks a lot Ignasi and Martha
Went for a quick holiday for a few days and really enjoyed Malcontenta. It's an ideal spot if you want to visit the small towns of Costa Brava and great for some hiking/trekking. The restaurant is fairly standard catalan fare, but quite good and the convenience is worth it. There are nice walks to the beach, which is fairly secluded. We were not there on warm days so we didn't use the pool.
Beautiful very clean apartment close by center of palamos city. I recommend for families with 4 members or friends. Beautiful calming environment. The beach is very much for children ,swimming, relaxing and warm.
Plenty of restaurants around this location. Very convenient for public transport and taxis.. Fresh sea food and fruits. Staff is very helpful via WhatsApp messages and calls.
Such a wonderful quiet little hotel. The restaurant that is on site had one of the best meals that I had on my 30 day trip in Spain. Just a short walk to the beach. The only issue for me was that it was quite empty around the area. Also, it was hard to find… I finally had to ask someone where it was.
The room was great, very spacious and modern. The hotel is really nice, with a great location. The beach nearby is gorgeous. Breakfast is really good, with lots of stuff to try. The pool is really big, with an on duty lifeguard, so a plus if you travel with kids.
The location is just 3 minutes walking from the main promenade in front of the beach. The hotel is very well decorated. The staff is friendly and answer all your questions. The breakfast was complete and not so busy. There is free parking nearby the location
Wonderful service and an excellent restaurant. The bar area was lovely and a beautiful courtyard to sit and relax. This hotel is run by experienced and charming people who care about the hotel and service they offer. We will certainly be back.
The hotel is located right to the beach. The view from the room was good (the seaside).
Comfortable family bed, despite the fact that they were twins.
The room was clean and soundproof was good.
A free parking is available near the hotel.
Attentiveness of hosts, the evening sanctuary in the garden and an absolutely exceptional restaurant. Breakfast was generous, fresh, local. Very well done!
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing to visit this region.
Our second visit to this lovely hotel. Well situated for the beach and some pleasant walks. Friendly staff. Very comfortable suite with terrace. Very good bathroom with walk in shower. Excellent restaurant with very nice staff.
Good size, clean, outside space, perfect “base” to explore Palamos. Short walk to beach. Cafes, bars & restaurants all close by. Much More space than hotel room for a competitive price. Well equipped. Underground car park.
The location of the hotel is pretty nice and handy.. close to the beach and the city.
The rooms are spacious and clean. Quite big and a nice bathtub. The staff was professional and nice.
A surprising location, practically on the beach, with beautiful walks left and right along the coastal paths. I really liked this hotel and will definitely return there again.
The hotel is close to the beach, yet moderately far from the city center and easily accessible by car. Located in a quiet residential area, it is quiet and comfortable.
I loved that the hotel was something like a Manor house, with stone arches, aspiring to Unique.
it was well lit at night with an iron gate, that made you feel secure.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The bathroom is very large and has two spaces to shower. The location of the hotel is ideal.
