The location of the hotel is perfect if you are traveling by car. The hotel is very close to the Roman Bridge, but being on the other side of the river to the historic town area, you do not have to navigate your way through tiny, busy streets to get there, and there is secure underground car parking at the hotel. Perfect.
The room is spacious and comfortable. We have 2 large suitcases and 2 small suitcases and still were not cramped in the room.
The staff, especially the cleaning staff, were all so bright and bubbly and cheerful, every day.

Check in /out went smooth..with pleasant interaction with members of staff. Parking on side. Easy 15-20min walk to the centre along the river. Liked waking up in the morning seeing the horses from the window.
Unfortunately walls with no sound barriers hearing all the neighbours enjoying themselves and the parties.

The location was perfect for visiting local attractions . We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Breakfast was a buffet which was simple but delicious. The bedroom was small but had everything you need for an overnight stay ( except a kettle) but we survived ! Water was what was needed and there was ample quantities of this. The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower , which was difficult to access .
