Amazing friendly staff. Beautifully clean and lovely breakfast

Set overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa Blanca, the Hotel Guardamar is ideal for a family vacation in the sunshine, equipped with a small outdoor swimming pool.

The location was perfect, the cleanliness was excellent. We hadn't booked breakfast during our stay but on the first day we asked to pay for breakfast on entering the breakfast area and enjoyed our breakfast. The room was bright and airey with plenty of space and the choice of food on offer was reasonable. However the following morning when entering the breakfast room, firstly there was no staff member present at all and a very severe shortage of choice of food. Very limited pastries and no croissant's whatsoever ! This was despite it only being half way through the timed period for breakfast. At the time, there was not only no member of staff to assist, but no one on the nearby reception desk to query this with. This was disappointing but didn't detract from the enjoyment of both the overall quality and excellent location of your hotel. Loved the hotel but the location did not work for my son who has Autism as he could not cope with busses. This was in no way a reflection of the hotel as it was wonderful
