Super comfortable beds and the place was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. There is a little sauna you can use if you tell the staff in advance, which is a nice way to end the day after long walks in the mountains. The owners are lovely and have always been available to give us some advice on what to see in the area.

Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit the Natural Park. Plenty of information about hiking routes to do there in the tourist information office. Good services in the village: small supermarket with all the basic goods you might need. Some good restaurants from a burger place, a pizza place and others... Taxi services to go up the park from the centre of the village. There is also a good bakery and a farmacy across the street from it. Basically, Espot covers all your basics.NuriaSpain - 10Scored 10

We used Espot as a base to snowshoe in the adjacent National Park. This is a small, high-mountain village, which is very busy in the summer months, and in the ski-season, but can be very quiet at other times. There are a sizeable number of self -catering apartments and about four mid-size hotels in the village, as well as a pharmacy, outdoor shop and small bakery. There are two small grocery shops, and several small restaurants. It is along drive to the village from other parts of Spain, or over the pass from Vielha, but the scenery is stunning. It is an outdoorsy-place, so there's not much to do if you don't walk or ski!FionaIreland - 10Scored 10

Great place to stay if you are planning hiking in the national park around. We also did some rafting which was amazing. There are some nice resturants there. Look for Al Dente - the place offers great pizzas, and self made pasta filled with all kinds things. If you are planning for a long stay - better find a large supermarket on your way. The one in Espot is pretty small.

What an absolutely beautiful place.
What an absolutely beautiful place. Worth the long, winding drive. Restaurants are cheap and delicious. The park is a 10-minute drive away and worth every second you can be there. I would've liked to stay longer and do more of the hikes! It was pretty warm during our stay but I hear that's a bit unusual. I would love to go back!MariaUnited States

The owner and his son, Mark, were amazing. They were very welcoming and went above and beyond for us. This is what made it the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It was very clean and centrally located. They stored our baggage for us while we went trekking.
