I arrived about 90 minutes before the official check in time. I resembled a drowned rat. Saturated after a day's hiking the Camino. They allowed me to check in immediately. I was able to get a hot shower and avoid possibly becoming ill. It was much appreciated. The room although small was very comfortable. Tv, ensuite bathroom. Hairdryer and coffee/tea making facilities. After 7 day's on the Camino is felt very luxurious.
Hotel Anunciada is a historic building with a fantastic seafront location. It is set in the centre of the lovely port of Baiona, and offers free public WiFi access.

Location is great. Reception staff great: attentive, knowledgeable. Room spacious. Big windows. Views to the street (old quarter), not to to the beachfront. Beds, soft and nice. Really hot water in the bathtube. Nice fluffy towels.

Baiona is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever experienced. Northern Spain as a whole is a delight but Baiona is absolutely lovely and is a good base for accessing other parts of the north of the country. It is also located on the Camino so is a great base for walkers. The walking in this particular area is flat so is accessible to all. Plenty of excellent eateries serving a wide range of dishes but specialising in fish/shellfish dishes and tapas. Foodies will not be disappointed! Baiona is easy walking, a delight for the eyes and the senses. The walk around the coastal path that takes you around the base of the Parador is superb with superb views of the Cies islands. What a stunning area. Do visit if you can, you will not be disappointed! We were touring and spent four nights there... it was not long enough. We very rarely visit the same place twice... I would go back there tomorrow!!

Nice town.
Nice town. The Spanish stick to the legend that America was "discovered" other than invaded and robbed, but that's just the Spanish "interpretation" of Columbus's journey. Visit the castle. Eat the local sea food.

Good facilities in the town and lots to do in the surrounding area. Would recommend hiring bikes from La Pedaleria - excellent bikes and very good value and lovely to ride along the flat cycle route stopping off at the beautiful beaches. Santiago is beautiful and well worth visiting for the day. Also beautiful mountains and we found some lovely mountain pools to swim in.

The Virxe da Rocha and the views from there are a must!
The Virxe da Rocha and the views from there are a must! The Fortaleza and the route are great, and so is the Castle! You can also go for a walk to the riverfront and enjoy the sea breeze and a fantastic view of the sea. The old city has very nice bars and restaurants, although barely any vegetarian options! If the weather is nice there are many nice beaches around, but if it isn't you can still stroll around and have fun at the bars and restaurants!
The beautiful location and garden. The grandeur of the hotel, the parlour and dining areas with views of the garden. What was truly outstanding was the kindness and caring of the owner and his daughter. Their passion and commitment is exceptional. They were attentive to their guests, while leading and teaching the others. Everyone we encountered was extra helpful. The breakfast was so delicious. The pastry was fabulous and the offerings included some Galician specialties I will never forget.
I had a lovely time, Mari and her family were very friendly and gave me everything I needed. The appartment is very close to the beach and has an amazing terrace. The kitchen is well equipment with everything you could need for your stay. There is also parking in a secure garage too. You can also walk into Baiona easily and there are supermarkets near by. I would definitely recommend it. I will return if I am around the area again..
Stayed at this property while on Camino. Rooms was very nice and spacious, Bathrooms were very clean. Hotel front desk was very helpful at check-in giving maps and guidance to the area and where to go. Ate dinner at the restaurant. Meal was very good...a little more expensive because it was at a hotel, but the server was very nice and attentive. Good nights sleep before heading back out on the trail.
Hotel Tres Carabelas is located in the center of the old town, close to great restaurants and the harbor. it’s right on the Camino, for anyone walking the Camino Portuguese. The room was comfortable and we slept easily on a quiet weeknight. The staff are all helpful and friendly. we didn’t have breakfast because we wanted to leave early for our walk.
The grounds were beautiful and the bar terrace had a lovely view. But it was overpriced for the room. It had a minibar but no kettle for tea or coffee, the room was spacious but looked into a drab stone courtyard. The carpet on the stair runners was fraying, the pool was closed. Overall, does not compare with other high end hotels.
Very quaint and quirky - but beautiful and spotlessly clean. Best hotel of any we stayed at on Camino. Felt like staying with friends! Hosts amazingly friendly without invading your privacy. Gave us a lift back to start of next days walk. You have to stay here!
Really great hotel with a beautiful garden. The garden is perfect to relax and to enjoy the moment. The hosts are so lovely and very friendly. Breakfast buffet is good and has everything. There is a great restaurant just 500 m away. Highly recommend.
The location was great - the hotel was almost directly on the Camino in the city center. We were warmly welcomed by the staff the moment we arrived - it felt like coming home. Dinner in the restaurant on the first floor was also exceptional.
Very good place to spend the night when walking the camino. Clean, quiet and still close to the center of Baiona. Very friendly people. Nice garden to relax. Facilities in the communal area so you can make your own breakfast.
Carlos the owner/manager was the complete professional and looked after our every need.
We spent two nights at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed having our beers on the bedroom balcony looking across the bay.
The location is at the city center and it was easy to walk around and explore Baiona. The beds are clean and comfortable. The room had water, coffee and tea making facilities. The staff were very helpful.
The hotel staff and the location.
Quite place. Many pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela stay there. Breakfast Continental type, hearty, enough for everybody
The apartment is modern, clean and a lovely bathtub. We could walk to everything in Baiona, no need to get the car. Owner was nice and very accommodating.
