Hotel was a little out of the way, but that meant it was excellent value. The room (a small apartment actually - with kitchen facilities etc.) was in a separate building across the road, but it was a very good size and the bedroom itself was big too. The only downside was an upstairs bedroom and a downstairs bathroom.
Everything was clean comfortable.
The restaurant was very good and breakfast was great too.

Rooms were very clean. beds were very comfortable..we were very tired coming back from Phantasialand. we wake up fresh after a good night sleep.
They also have a Indian restaurant attached to the hotel that was beautifully designed and the food was delicious. we really enjoyed our dinner.
breakfast was pretty standard.

Nice place. Room was stuffy, not much you can do about that. Guy at front desk was friendly.
Hotel was very pretty but could do with some modernisation. Room was huge with fridge and coffee making facilities, satellite TV was all in Germany. In the summer you would need a fan as the room was very warm. Location was good for our needs. Hotel was 10 mins from the town square, where there was a choice of a Greek, Italian restaurant and a German bistro. Good choice at breakfast. There was a vending machine near room 114 which had sweet snacks and soft drinks and beer in it. Parking on site

The place and the hotel is beautiful, very picturesque and quiet. It is just a pity that the restaurant is closed, it used to be very good. The room was huge, very clean and comfy. Great value for the money.
We have stayed here before and again was not disappointed, the staff are very helpful and the hotel clean. Breakfast had a good selection for everyone’s taste. We will always return to this hotel.
The hotel room was well appointed. The shower is/was the biggest I have seen in years (and powerful). The location was quiet (during the weekend), bar and food were very good
