We loved the views of the forest and hearing the birds singing from our room and in the hotel’s lounge area. The swimming pool and breakfast areas are excellent. We loved sitting on the balcony the lounge area, eating cake and drinking coffee. It was very peaceful.

This traditional non-smoking country guest house in Unterreichenbach is an original Black Forest mill. It offers brightly furnished rooms with a balcony. The restaurant serves Swabian cooking.

The location was nice and given more time would have been a good place to explore the area from. Both by car and on hikes. The old mill theme added to the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly.

This family-run hotel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and hiking routes here in the Black Forest Nature Park.

Traditional decor, spotlessly clean. Great top room with mezzanine. Frau Stürner is super friendly. Lots of parking outside the hotel. NB Mondays and Tuesdays are Rest days for Staff so found the restaurant closed. Frau Stürner kindly directed us to a hotel 10min walk away which was lovely.

The Hotel Residenz is situated just 1 kilometre from the Karlsruhe-Stuttgart motorway exit Pforzheim West. Free WiFi is available in public areas.

- The room was spotless, especially the bathroom. We thought the bathroom was renovated and we were the first ones to use it, but on the second night, we realized that it was just that their cleaning skills were on point. We could not find a single sign that we used the shower the night before. - The room was fully equipped and big enough for two people. - The location was nice with restaurants, bakeries, and bus stops around.
