It's a lovely hotel by the road. A perfect rest for those traveling in business. Delicious breakfast with coffee served by a friendly owner. Very comfortable beds, quality bathroom equipment with hot water and good water pressure. Clean and tidy. Traditional outfit of the rooms but all properly set to do some extra office work. And this morning view form the window! Schwarzwald in its beauty. I will definiately come back.

If you are going to arrive after 10pm you MUST let the hotel know and pay in advance. There are no staff on site after 10pm and an arrangement can be made for the key to be left in a lock box. Breakfast is avaialble from 0830 on a Saturday - don't know about during the week. Hotel immaculately clean, lovely breakfast and lovely person on duty in the morning who made us a very nice breakfast.

The location was nice and given more time would have been a good place to explore the area from. Both by car and on hikes. The old mill theme added to the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed over for one night on a trip down south. Perfect quietly located at meadows and a small creek. Rooms weren't super fancy or anything, but they have everything you need, it was clean and the beds were comfy. The hotel is in good shape with nice interior. The real highlight is the breakfast buffet, with so many delicious extras beyond what you can expect to get from a normal breakfast. Also, the lady servicing at the breakfast room there was super kind and helpful. For breakfast and staff more than 10 points!!!

Very clean hotel, in a quiet area but next to a lot of villages. Very nice staff.
The place is amazing, you go out of the hotel and you can immediately start a walk in the forest. Breakfast is excellent.
Quality price ratio is very good too.
It is a very romantic place that can work for families too : our daughter received a very nice welcome, the baby’s bed was very comfortable too.
The rooms are very nice.
They were clean and nice touch was that the heating was on upon arrival, not every hotel does that.
We do prefer a cooler room for sleeping and noticed that the blankets are on the thin side to sleep comfortable in a cooler room.
The breakfast was really good and a perfect start of the day.
Overall a good stay and we will come back.
Very clean, new furniture, well equipped room, comfortable bed, the lady at the reception was super nice. We only stayed one night on our way back home and this hotel although located outside the city in an area you can only reach by car it was a super nice surprise.
Great friendly staff particularly as we have poor German. The breakfast was a highlight. We chose this hotel as a most convenient stop between UK and Italy as it was dog friendly (if you gave them notice) and there are great walks close by.
Nice hotel set on a quiet road out of town. The room was clean and well furnished. We were able to park our bikes out of sight from the road. The host took time to explain the difference between all the local breads on the breakfast buffet
Very helpful staff had given us two rooms next to each other. Helped us finding a good restaurant for the evening. The hotel lies next two a lovely stream a beautiful forest. The breakfast was your typical good german breakfast.
