The staff were excellent throughout…very welcoming and gave helpful advice. Great location for all Trier sights and restaurants. The courtyard is a lovely space to eat, or just sit and read.
BTW Trier is a must see city.

Location of the hotel is great, smack bang in the middle of everything. Added bonus is their underground carpark, which is very easy to get to. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was ok.

Mesenich is a pleasant village in the Sauertal. There are good walks along the valley and up the valley sides. The only drawback is that there was only one restaurant (at the hotel where I stayed), so when the restaurant closed on Monday evening I had to drive to find somewhere to eat.
