Very cozy little village, surrounded by forests.
Very cozy little village, surrounded by forests. It is almost a dream come true except for the fact you need to drive to adenau, 7. 8 kms away, if you need to buy any kind of groceries or even simple bread

The village itself is very small and has no attractions, but...
The village itself is very small and has no attractions, but it's centrally located between various attractions in the neighbourhood. The Nürburgring is of course extremely close by if you're a speed freak, but there are also plenty of vistas and hiking trails, like the Hohe Acht and Maria Laacher See. If you need food, it's a short (and fun) drive through the mountain roads towards Adenau or Nürburg, both of which have plenty of shops and restaurants. One caveat: The cellular coverage in the entire region can be spotty at times so if connectivity matters to you, be sure to check if you have WiFi where you're staying!
