The hotel was exactly how it was described, hence it fully met our expectations. You feel transported back in time, before the 90s, especially with the breakfast and reminded us of our childhoods. Rooms are fine and clean.

Very good breakfast. There is no lift but the staff helped with luggage (and refused a tip). The hotel is modern and pleasantly decorated. Secure car parking was provided.

Not much, the building is quite large and has a good position, my room was large and comfortable but nothing special.
Also nobody came to re-do my room and clean, I was there two nights and I was expecting at least someone to clean the bathroom, or open the window for fresh air. I don't have to ask for this basic room-cleaning service... (I don't usually ask for this service in 3 stars hotel when I travel for work!)

Lovely historic town, super Xmas markets - better than Prague. Loads of great bars and several superb microbreweries as well as the world famous Budvar brewery which is well worth a tour.
Great parks and loads of easy walking around the town make it a pleasure to visit.
Good transport links and nearby Cesky Krumlov is a must see.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

Besides having a beautiful city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants and shops, the city is convenient as a hub from which to visit nearby towns in South Bohemia such as Ceske Krumlov, and to link with hiking and bicycle trails.
The Regional Museum is also well worth spending a few hours in.
One thing that online Maps fail to advise, is that Ceske Budejovice has a comprehensive bus network, that is inexpensive.
Overall the people seem happy and friendly to tourists.

Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river.
Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river. Has some nice parks and large town square. Not as cute as some other Czech towns but is home to the original Budweiser. Do the tour to learn all about the beer and taste it. The Hluboka Castle is 30 minutes north of the city. If you have time rent a car or use the public transport (bus or train) to go see it. It’s a beautiful, Winchester palace inspired castle. Large ground territory and free to explore. You can pay to do tours inside the castle but walking outside the castle is already worth the visit.

It's not a flashy city.
It's not a flashy city. The vibe was more a working city, not really on the tourist route, but it has a nice, quiet quality. The Old City Center is small and very walkable, though not as big and famous as Český Krumlov - and also not as expensive. It makes a nice stopover between Linz and Prague, with a visit to Český Krumlov in between.

A welcoming hotel. Carmilla was on reception when we arrived. Friendly and efficient. Our room was fairly compact and bijoux but was comfortable enough and good overall value. The bed was very comfortable. Good bathroom as well. Great location on Ceska Street. There,'s an organic cafe just along from the hotel where the do a mean lemonade.
Breakfast is a smorgasbord of a buffet. All you need to do fill up, return, fill up & return.
I would certainly stay here again but I would get a larger room.
There is no challenge for this place in Ceske Budejovice, period. For a price lower than a hotel room you get basically a whole fully accomodated flat with kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom, dish machine, wash machine and everything else. Amazing location, discount coupon for the restaurant downstairs, everything interesting within five minutes of slow walking. I wish I could use a place like this anywhere I travel to. Would (and will) come again anytime
The hotel is located in the city center. It is clean, the furniture is new, the beds are extremely comfortable, the room is being clean and make-up daily during breakfast time. On the table during breakfast there are some specific Czech sausages and cheeses which definitely deserve attention, the deserts too. There is internet connection available. The staff is very nice and willing to help. We had a very, very pleasant stay.
Thank you for this great stay!
For us the ideal hotel for one night to get some stuff done in Ceske Budejovice, by car. The level of cleanliness was just amazing! We had a room with a quite large bathroom. We slept very well in the bed, also great. The breakfast was also very good for this level of hotel. A pity we could not enjoy the country side and the nearby lake. The staff was very friendly and relaxed and helped us with the little mess we caused with spilled coffee.
We had a great time at Spa Hotel Vita. Even though we stayed only for one night, we feel that our choice to stay there was a great idea. The room was spacious and very clean, the breakfast quite nice, and the personnel very helpful! The location of the hotel is great since it is very close to the center of the city. It was also fairly easy to park the car close to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
Super clean and modern, very functional, much recommended. Great value for the price, excellent location. Small cafe/wine bar that belongs to the pension right below, so there is an option for a coffee in the morning. The check in and check out through kiosk is very convenient, as you are not dependant on anyone. Unlike common hotels with more stars, which run just local channels, TV has even Netflix!
The location of this place is pretty good at the center of the old town but that's about it. They room had a nice charm but it's poorly kept, dirty, musty, creaking every step you take. If it was renovated and more effort is put in the management of the hotel instead of the restaurant it might become good.
Excellent location right in the center of Budweis, so everything is in foot distance, public transportation (even the main train station) is just minutes away. The room was beautiful and clean and the completely independent check-in and check out procedure was great!
The room was spacious and very nice. Although it was on the circle, it was quiet and pieceful with easy access anywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but only if the airconditioner at this room works.
Great location, easy to reach the city center. Well designed apartment for a comfortable stay. Such a comfy bed! Friendly approach of the owner. If I will come back to Ceske Budejovice, I will definitely stay here again.
A very neat hotel, quite good for the price. They do not offer breakfast, but can arrange one at tge hotel next-doors. Just mind that there is no 24h reception. We are ver satisfied and recommend this small hotel.
We have reveived an apartement instead of 2 hotel rooms. It was great. The best restaurants of the city within 2 minutes walk. The city center was.5 minutes walk. We enjoyed everything very much.
Big spacious apartment with everything you need. Nice location in old city centre. Nice historical building of Hotel with minibrewery on the ground floor. Perfect communication by host.
simply wonderful. definitely come back when we will be in Ceske Budejovice.
