This hotel dates from the 1960s but was recently refurbished to a high standard with modern features throughout. The town itself is pleasant to visit, and there are many walking attractions close by. The room was very comfortable and huge, with a beautiful view (8th floor), excellent electrical facilities, desk, storage, plus coffee and tea-making facilities. The restaurant is attractive with a high standard of cuisine. Interesting, silent films from the 1930s relating to the history of the town and nearby areas were projected on a wall. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The parking was really good to park the motorbikes. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. You also have facilities to book a massage, which I really recommend. The hotel is quite close to the city centre which I would recommend to visit.

Delicious breakfast and meals in the local restaurant. Staff was also really helpful. Wonderful place in the very middle of the city. It was possible to park a car near the front door for free.
