We loved the place, the city and the atmosphere of the place is wonderful in a quiet village. Comfortable bed and room to enjoy time together. It was wonderful to have a balcony with a view over the city. The kitchen had good equipment like oven and toaster and it was great to have unlimited (beach) towels. When we asked for a water boiler, we got it. With a car you can easily travel to the bakery and shops closeby in Zygi and enjoy swimming at Govenor's beach. Sunset in the evening is beautiful.

The location is just Perfect. Andry gave us a warm welcome and Surprised us with the decoration since she knew we were there for our honeymoon. She prepared a Carrot Cake specially for us since we are Vegetarians!

Small but very clean and beautiful village. Pleasant to walk about. Great restaurant, Retro, good quality, fair prices. Village square offers a nice cafe at very reasonable prices. Surrounded by other small villages and the beach is very near. Cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter because of its position between the mountains.

I love the village of Kalavasos as it is a traditional Cyrpus village that is not too touristy. Their are so many things you can do in the surrounding areas. Amazing villages to visit and local honey farms and architectural digging sites and ruins to visit. Kalavasos is one of a small number of beautiful old villages...
Kalavasos is one of a small number of beautiful old villages that lie between Larnaca and Limassol. It is only a few minutes from the main road but very quiet with an excellent local tavern, coffee shop and restaurant. There is a well stocked supermarket. In addition to the many apartments available to rent, the Library Hotel is excellent. Walks of various lengths can be taken from the hotel or by driving to nearby villages like Tochni or Choirokoitia. It is a short drive to the coast but be aware that there is a large, unsightly power complex between Governer's Beach and Zygi. The people of Kalavasos are all very friendly.
The people of Kalavasos are all very friendly. We had a lovely experience with everyone we met. The village is traditional and offers 2 restaurants (dine in or take out), cafe and mini market all within walking distance. It was quiet, relaxing and the location was excellent for staying at the holiday apartment with everything we needed within walking distance, but it was also conveniently located close to the sea (10-15 min drive) and excellent fish restaurants. Overall it was a great experience and my family and I will definitely visit again.

Very close to the beach, to Larnaca and to Limassol. It's simply a hidden gem! The room was brilliant. Very homy, cozy and highly designed to the smallest details. With a beautiful cozy courtyard. And what was the most heartwarming, is the host Elena. The sweetest person ever! She really made us feel at home... We can't wait to be visiting Cyprus again to stay at this gorgeous place!

The place is tranquil and charming, with great host Andreas who grew up in there, knows ways, and is friendly and communicative. Village itself is one of the kind, with rich and ancient history, extremely good restaurant, and it has everything one needs.

We stayed in the Shakespeare room which was lovely. The jacuzzi took about an hour to fill though so plan ahead. Kalavasos itself is very pretty.
