I was happy to have a room toward the back of the hotel. It was really quiet which I loved. On my previous visit my room was near the kitchen and I could hear the early morning breakfast preparation. This time was so much better:)

I know Tunja well as I am an art historian and very interested in its historical sites. It has many "hidden treasures" in churches and small museums. It is also very close to small towns outside Tunja, such as Oicatá, which are totally worth it! Highly recommend.

Great city. I love cold weather and Tunja has it. Walking around is awesome. The Northern zone of Tunja is simply beautiful. The center of Tunja has Great constructions and history. You can take a bus from Tunja to Villa de Leyva easily. I'll be back in December.
The best hotel in town.

This was my second visit to Tunja and my second stay at Hotel Posada de San Agustin. That speaks for itself!
The hotel is comfortable, beautifully restored and with a great atmosphere. Staff are charming, breakfast delicious, and the rooms nicely appointed.
If I was coming back to Tunja then I'd book again, without hesitation.
The hotel is located in an ideal locale, near the historic center. The staff is marvelous, the finest I have encountered, attentive to your needs and unfailingly courteous. They serve an outstanding breakfast, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to visitors to Tunja.
The style of this hotel was so very charming. The owner has found so many antiques to tell a story of the past. It felt like a home. The breakfast was delicious, made to order, wow! The entrance to the hotel is a wood door with a old fashioned brass knoker. Highly recommend this hotel!
