Changping Gou (valley) and Shuangqiao Gou are located at high altitude locations of 3200m and above. The entrance ticket of each valley includes a bus ride to and back from the ticket center to the valley. Both valleys were easy to navigate as you will be walking on wooden walking path (such as boardwalk). I brought some snacks and water with me. I spent about 6 hours at each valley and took many pictures.

Bustling little town.
Bustling little town. Hiking in the valleys was simply stunning. Ascending Da Feng and Er Feng peaks was even more so! Highly recommended. In the scheme of things, it isnt a super touristy place compared to other parts of China. Visit here before the crowds discover it!
You can walk around the town all on foot. Most accommodation is within walking distance of the visitor centre where you buy tickets to hike in the valleys. You can also do multi-day hikes (including ascending the peaks) which you will need a guide. Many local guides available but few speak english. Get in touch with your accommodation for suggestions on how to find a guide.
