Location was very nice and well connected to the city. Bus stop and train station and very close and there are few eating places also right outside the hotel.
They also provide a free bus pass valid in Lucerne, helpful if you don’t have Swiss travel pass.
The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent.

The location of the hotel is perfect for staying in Lucerne. Only a short walk to the train station and restaurants. Everything was perfectly clean with daily fresh towels and room tidy. The breakfast was perfect, a great selection and lovely food to set you up for the day. All the staff were lovely and so helpful which was just the icing on the cake! Would recommend to anyone staying in Lucerne.
Stay at the historic, half-timbered Hotel Rebstock dating from the 14th century, surrounded by a lot of contemporary art, where the people of Lucerne too enjoy wining and dining.

We loved this hotel. The breakfast was superb with an excellent variety of foods
The restaurant at night was very high quality. Our room and bathroom were spacious and being on the top floor the lift was appreciated. Only 2 minutes walk to the bus stop or a comfortable 10 minute walk to everything. Perfect!
The 3-star Hotel DES ALPES is ideal for city travelers. It is located directly on the Reuss River in the picturesque, car-free old town of Lucerne right next to the world-famous Chapel Bridge.

I stayed on my own, so had a small room at the back of the hotel, but it was comfortable with a good (but small) bathroom, good shower and comfortable bed, good breakfast and cheerful and helpful staff.

Location was good, rooms were close together. Spacious
The hotel is located in the quaint little town of Malters, we loved the location and the neighborhood. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were ready to meet all our requirements during the stay. Will definitely recommend this place!
The room was neat and clean. Hotel is nice, close to Lucerne (approx. 15-20 mins drive during non-peak hour) and the breakfast was good. There is an in-house swiss restaurant and a pizzeria right in front of the hotel.
Small room but well set up - retrofitted bathroom was surprisingly extremely functional. Good location 2 min walk to Malters station from which 10 mins by train to the centre of Lucerne. Breakfast standard and fine
Room was clean, equipped with ventilator because this hotel room did not have air conditioner installed. It is possibility to reach open terrace from the room, where you can sit and enjoy. Good breakfast.
The location is convenient for travel into Lucerne by train. Some easy hikes are also possible. The hotel seems to have a long tradition, and there appears to be a common room one can sit in for reading.
Ideal spot for a night or two if you are visiting Malters. Quick walk from the train station & nearby restaurants if you want a pizza or quick meal. Quirky old house!
