The location is exceptional. The view from the window was sublime and it's a 1 minute walk to the train staion that takes you to Lugano or Como. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. There was a mini ferry terminal that took you to Lugano.

Located 20mns from the lake in the hills, Arogno is a very beautiful and quiet village. We had a great time at Locanda La Pignatta. Perfect welcome with Giovanni. The hotel has recently been renovated. Very clean with good bedding. We dined there, the menu offers quality local dishes. The villagers meet on the beautiful terrace in the evening which gives a very authentic character. Thank you to all the team for this pleasant stay. We'll be back with pleasure.

The room was clean with an ensuite and our dog was allowed in both the room and the restaurant. All the staff were polite and helped us out by providing a tube of toothpaste that we had forgotten to pack. We were able to park our car outside. The Albergo was easy to find from the motorway.

The room was amazing and facing on lugano lake. Morcote is quite a beautiful village which is located 20 min from lugano. The stuff was friendly and supportive.

This hotel was one of two I selected for overnight stops whilst driving from central Italy back to the UK. It has very easy access to and from the main highway. Bissone is a pleasant little town on the southern edge of lake Lugarno and Albergo Ristorante La Palma has a terrace right on the shore-line with attractive views. All hotel / restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful and multi-lingual. The restaurant has a good menu wines. Metered parking is available off the street directly outside the hotel.

The Hotel Milano is located in Mendrisio, just 700 metres from the highway Milano-Lugano, across the main railway station and the post office.

This hotel is exceeding my expectations, especially after the previous B&B)) Great location, right at the railway station, but quiet enough. Looks new and modern inside. Very clean, nice new furniture, everything works, all in order. Big shower, all super clean. Big comfy bed, pillows. Nice paintings, adding some brightness and mood. Great views, big windows, with shutters. Air conditioning works great and you can change it all or turn it off. Breakfast is nice, fresh and tasty. The choice not big, but definitely enough. Service is nice and fast. Don't forget to get your free Ticino ticket if you need it. There's a nice restaurant in the hotel, but they served only pizza Sunday evening, which was still nice. Pleasant walk to the old city center and view points. Would stay here again, highly recommended))
