The breakfast was delicious - and very filling. The extra nice touch was that it was served on silver platters, etc. The whole place had a welcoming atmosphere- a very beautifully renovated older home. The hosts were very gracious.

We didn't go to breakfast, so n/a on this.
The room was clean and comfortable, we both had a great sleep! And love parking right at our room :-)

We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one night before departing early the next morning for our destination in New Brunswick. Truro was a convenient overnight stop. We did not spend time much time in Truro.

This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!
I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food....
I don't recommend it to anyone!

Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place.
Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place. The town has great restaurants and is easy to navigate. The people are friendly and helpful.
The roads could use a little work on them.
Thai Express and Mezza where good for tasty fast food.
The British Cafe was great with very friendly staff and you could take your dog to the outdoor patio.

Swiss Chalet is the best in the Province
Not to easy to get around Truro. You need a GPS
The Glooscap Trail is great ,very scenic. Truro a great central location to go to other places of interest.
From the moment we were greeted with Kelty’s wagging tail and Ruth’s warm smile I knew we had the correct decision to stay at the Suncatcher B&B. The rooms were bright and cheerful and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. And Ruth gave us a lot of useful information to start our vacation in Nova Scotia on a positive note. I would definitely stay at the Suncatcher the next time my travels take me back to Nova Scotia.
This is an exceptional small comfortable atmosphere. So clean fresh. I have stayed all over the world over 2.000 hotels plus cruise ships. This small motel is beyond anyone’s expectations. Convenience in Truro Great pizza shop across the street, gasoline and drugstore across the street and 5 minutes to hospital for anyone needing to be close
The hotel was okay but a bit dingy feeling. It was not as clean as I would like. My only criteria for a hotel is that it is clean but it didn't feel super clean. The staff were awesome though! My kids had a great time on the waterside but the pool is disappointing if you don't want to slide but would rather swim.
It was clean, quiet, and comfortable and located close to a mall with selection of restaurants and grocery store. Rooms are very plain and minimal but clean and have fridges as well as coffee maker.
A hundred dollars cheaper than other places in Truro. I liked it and would be happy to stay again.
I liked their arrangement for late check in and there was break fast included. The location was very good and there were all the necessary stores around. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was more like a small hotel rather than a motel as there was more of family crowd.
This hotel is a must stay. From the moment my husband and I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were going to have a great stay. The restaurant is a 5 star. The location is perfect 5 minutes from the mall and Walmart. We will definitely be staying here again.
Wonderful breakfasts! Exceptionally clean and comfortable room and common spaces. And, our hosts Anne and D'Arcy were friendly, helpful and gracious. Belgravia was our favorite accomodation in Nova Scotia. A great central location for day trips.
Absolutely would love to return!
Daniel at the front desk. Daniel was so friendly and always smiling and a laughter you can’t forget and that’s a great thing. If he wasn’t there we would rate the hotel a two. Daniel is a great access to the hotel.
The best thing about this motel is it's location to everything else in the city. Made shopping and eating easy, all within walking distance. For a night stay over on route to another destination, it was fine.
everything was great but.... you need to offer flatter pillows.. i find now all the hotels have really thick pillows and so many have neck pain afterward, i do too and i need a flat pillow.
