Five Elements Lodge B&B with Outdoor Spa, hotel in Ganges

Offering garden views, Five Elements Lodge B&B with Outdoor Spa in Fernwood offers accommodation, a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge.

My daughter and I loved our stay and would have stayed longer if time had permitted. Danica and Eryk were very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen was a great feature with all of the essentials provided. The coffee in the morning and the meal set out was more than what we needed. Loved the farm fresh eggs option! I also loved the sauna and steam room. Sunset beach was a dream.

Wisteria Guest House, hotel in Ganges

Boasting a 1-acre English garden. A guest terrace is featured and free Wi-Fi is offered in all guest units. Ganges city centre is a 10-minute walk and 1 km away.

Wisteria Guest House felt like a home away from home. The Bedroom and communal Room were very cute and cozy (the homemade cookies were a delight!). The Garden felt like a green haven. And our biggest highlight was of course Steve, the cuddly wisteria cat!

Salt Spring Carriage House B&B, hotel in Ganges

Boasting garden views, Salt Spring Carriage House B&B features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 3.1 km from Salt Spring Golf & Country Club.

We had a great time at Salt Spring Carriage House B&B, and stayed in the garden suite. We are form Victoria and wanted a quiet weekend away from everything and were very happy at how peaceful and remote the location was. Our favorite perks of our stay was the peaceful and private hot tub, very nice indoor propane fireplace, excellent home made breakfast, and overall comfort of the suite. Also the owners were very pleasant to deal with and were very accommodating to us, we can also verify Sue's reputation for making fantastic breakfasts.

Thistle Dew Cottage, hotel in Ganges

Set in Ganges in the Salt Spring Island region, Thistle Dew Cottage has a balcony. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi.

The Cottage was fantastic, just what I needed for my solo visit to Salt Spring Island. Well equipped with essential food and snacks and washing equipment, which was very handy for me as I biked from Victoria and packed light. The bed was so comfy and the cottage has a real charm to it, the photos don't do it justice! Location is great for Ganges and there are some nice trails nearby. The Salt Spring Wild Cider house is on the doorstep and a visit here is a must. The food and cider are amazing. The owner Pauline is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, a true Canadian gem! Her life story is amazing, she is a mine of information and she goes well out of her way for people. I really hope to be back some day soon!

Ganges is a sweet Gulf Island town. Lots to explore.

Ganges is a sweet Gulf Island town. Lots to explore. A fabulous bookshop, art store ( sadly closed on Monday). Easy to walk about. Saturday country market still thriving. Wonderful people everywhere. I ate dinner in the local pub walking distance from the cabin. Very good fare and friendly folk.

There are lots of quaint shops, cafes and restaurants.

There are lots of quaint shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a public library in case you need a place to hang out for awhile on a rainy day. The market takes place on Saturdays. There is a great games store (Foxes) if you want to pick something up to play with the family while in town. There are a couple of thrift stores in case you need to pick up any extra clothing items that you don't necessarily want to bring home. Be aware of the hours for the restaurants. We were surprised to arrive on a Friday night (late April) to discover that a number of pizza places were closed.

Ganges is an interesting small town on a beautiful island.

Ganges is an interesting small town on a beautiful island. The people are open and welcoming and the prices are still manageable. With all the wonderful local produce and products we hoped the cuisine would be slightly better and there would be more choices. The Saturday market is a great addition to the excitement of the island.

Ganges has a number of restaurants and coffee shops but in many cases hours are somewhat limited (likely due to staff shortages at this time). There is plenty going on (including the busy Saturday market) as well as a variety of outdoor activities available to warrant a 3 day or longer stay. We have stayed in or near Ganges a number of times, and plan to return at least once each year, hopefully more.

The location was wonderful. Close to downtown's various food places and the salt spring cheese farm, and also right by a big lake. Very convenient to go to dog friendly nature adventures like the ruckle park, the beddis beach, mt. Maxwell lookout and Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park. Need a car for sure. There are boats and peddle boards which we didn't try. Nice sauna. The room was spacious. Seems like all rooms would be enough for at least 3 travellers. Very clean cabin.

Hotel over all was gorgeous and the front had a great view of the bay and within walking distance to the main centre. We arrived too early check in but staff let us leave the car on site so we could walk into town while we waited. Staff kindly called us a few hours later to advise our room was ready and we were able to check in even before the standard check in time which was great.

This place was magical! Such a gorgeous room with a very comfy bed. Such cute decor too! It was only a short 10/15 minute walk right into the centre of Ganges, so it was a perfect little stroll - nice to be in the nature! Best of both worlds! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I loved the dining room idea too. It was very cute, and beautifully set up for breakfast!

The Inn is within walking distance of the Ganges Harbor Airport, and its historic character has been beautifully tended and updated. In June, it was surrounded by gorgeous flowers that make a cameo appearance in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and graciously tended our luggage for several hours after we'd checked out.
