David was a fabulous host..the huge and delicious breakfasts were served by David with a small commentary from him about the produce..nothing was too difficult for David including giving us Maps of the Ypres Salient or information pertaining to anything we needed.. being able to help ourselves using an honour system for refrigerated beverages(alcoholic or non) was great and the ability to be able to make ourselves tea and coffee anytime was welcome. I also liked the ability to lounge in places other than our room with the placement of lounges in close proximity to our room.Plenty of parking.

Beautiful, comfortable, wonderful breakfast, and the gardens were lovely. We didn’t even use the hot tub but we will next time. Hosts were quick to respond and seemed quite nice. We also loved looking at all the interesting books in the bookshelves

Everything was fantastic, room, food, staff very helpful. A lovely feel to the hotel very interesting things to look at brilliant War artefacts to see so interesting.
Just outside Ypres, you’ll find the cosy family hotel of Flanders Lodge, with a nice winter garden restaurant and the charm of a log cabin.

The young lad at the reception and also in the restaurant was just so customer focused.

This is very quit and small population village which few minutes of driving you reach the sea , De Panne and New Port , so easy to reach and accessible , interesting places to stand by like the West Vletteren and St. Bernardus!
The owner has very friendly and welcoming. The location is was very convenient, close enough to Ieper, but also near interesting places to visit. The hotel has many amenities for people with small children. Very close there is a great place for breakfast (Tiebrood) and right next to it the Guynemer Paviljoen. I absolutely recommend visiting it, it is maintained by a local that is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the city and the area.
A delightful find. The owners were very welcoming and ensured we felt welcome. Our bedrooms on 2nd floor were very well appointed ,including an excellent air con system ,very necessary during our visit.
It is an hotel/restaurant with 13 rooms . A very good breakfast was available ,which we took each day. Evening dinners were very good indeed and much enjoyed.
Very close to major WW1 sites and a good base for a tour ,eg Ypres 20 minutes drive.
It was absolutely amazing! Loved the hotel and the hosts were above and beyond. Already planning our next trip back. We had a tour of the hotel and restaurant when arriving and the hosts answered all of our questions quickly and with no problems.
