Hotel is in a good location. Easy walk to Mons old town center. Clean. Breakfast is OK but the same very day without any variety. Staff are accommodating and try to help.

This is fine as an overnight stay with a pleasant and comfortable room. We had dinner on room service and the food was very good.
Featuring an eco-friendly theme, this unique hotel with a modern design has a Mediterranean restaurant. Utopia is situated in a peaceful countryside setting, just over a 10-minute drive from Mons.

Room was a decent size for the two of us. Twin room, plenty of space for us both. Basic room but clean.
Le Terminus is situated opposite Mons Railway Station and offers rooms with a balcony. It has free Wi-Fi in the public areas and a restaurant serving French and Italian cuisine.

The hotel has a good location, next to the station and a five minute walk from the town centre. It is a cheap option for somewhere to stay, and the restaurant stays open late, which is good news if you arrive late in the evening

This city may be not at your radar screen and may be easily eclipsed by Brussels, Gent or Antwerp - but if you decide to visit Mons, you will be surprised how many things it has to offer. A plethora of restaurants and bars, magnificent churches, interesting museums (Mons Memorial, Doudou Museum, Mundaneum, art museum - well, now in renovation but organising events, the Belfry and more) and, most of all, a great atmosphere of a typical Waloon city, the streets that can lead you to new discoveries... I was really enchanted! And it will be even better as one can see a lot of restoration works in the city ongoing, including a, well, imposing, railway station. This city has a potential, indeed.

Mons is the site of the first contact between the British...
Mons is the site of the first contact between the British Expeditionary Force and the invading German armies in August 1914. The British were stuck in a difficult position owing to the fact that their flanking French allies had retreated without informing the British, and they had to dig in along the Mons-Conde-Charleroi canal, which they held against all odds for the day of 23rd August 1914. Not only were the first shots exchanged here, but also the first two Victoria Crosses were won during the battle. If you have a good guide or guidebook, the greater part of the battlefield is largely unchanged, and after a day of looking round, you have the town square of Mons, where the troops rested before moving up to contact. The square is unchanged, and anyone who has seen any of the photos taken at the time will be able to situate themselves easily - while enjoying a beer of a meal at any of the town's excellent bars and restaurants. I recommend the Lebanese restaurant on the main square.

The area around the railway station is under contruction (for years); however this small city is charming. The central square with a renaissance city hall and many terraces is beautiful and lively and there are some interesting sights to see (museums, church, belfry). On the other side of the station is a big modern shopping mall.

This was just a stopover on our homeward journey. There is a HUGE redevelopment at the station just opposite the hotel, although they had stopped work when we got there. We might come back in two years to see the work when it is finished. Right now it looks like a giant spaceship!

Rather lovely city to walk in and enjoy the cosy streets.
Rather lovely city to walk in and enjoy the cosy streets. The Belfry and historical city hall and surrounding buildings are very nice to see and visit. The city offers big brand shops but also smaller niche stores when you look for it. Great chocolate milk by the way at the Texas café :)

Town has a much old world charm.
Town has a much old world charm. Can be run down in places and main shopping street appears to be struggling to compete with large out of centre shopping complex and the internet.
The Cathedral is worth a visit.
Le Grand Pres shopping centre is massive with a huge range of high quality vendors.
The apartment is nicely decorated and had everything I needed for a one week stay (cooking utensils, hair dryer etc). The bed was very comfortable. The host was really understanding and they had my room ready before the official check-in time, because I arrived earlier than expected in Mons. The wifi was good and the self check-in process went smoothly.
The hotel is tidy, clean and spacious. Within the hotel, there is a very nice restaurant which you can have fancy food and drinks. We spent our 2nd Christmas here and we are quite satisfied about it.
The employees here can speak really good English and very warm welcome. We will come back here in the future.
Everything about the hotel was positive...the room/bathroom itself, the peace and quiet, the quite superb breakfast, the private parking and the proximity of the centre of Mons...not forgetting the helpfulness and friendliness of the desk staff.
I would have no hesitation in revisiting ...
A charming historical building that is being renovated. Serge, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice room with a convenient and fully equipped kitchen for all guests to share. Free, gated parking in front of the hotel I will stay again on my next business trip.
Central to Mons, with only a short walk to the town centre. Lovely hotel in a converted church, so a lot of the rooms have some unusual features. Great dining area and bar, with friendly staff, definitely recommend when on a visit to the bustling centre of Mons
The apartments are managed from Hotel Lido, just on the other side of the street where the buildings are located, so you can benefit 24/7 reception and assistance. Rooms are small and distributed on 3 floors: for a short term stay it's quite OK.
Very nice and helpfull personel. A bit out-dated furniture gives special spirit to the hotel. Sometimes WiFi can't support video stream.
Nice breakfast and delicious restaurant.
Big parking lot in front of the hotel.
Good location in town. In-room kitchen allowed us to buy local food and dine in the hotel garden. Friendly staff. Breakfast was extra, but worth the price, fresh fruit, juice, croissant, meats, and cheeses.
Very nice apartment; clean, quiet and comfortable - everything was as advertised. Convenient location within easy walking distance of the city center, with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from.
People from the hotel (reception/staff) were very friendly; no bridge too far. Our room was very cozy with a stylish design, better combination of both practical and esthetical. A place to return to!
Nice, clean room, good size. Staff friendly and helpful. Quite area, 10 minute walk to square in centre. Could have done with coffee making facilities but not essential. Would use this hotel again.
Good size room, well decorated. Comfortable bed. Nice looking bathroom with a bathtub. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Free parking nearby. Short walk to the main square.
Excellent location near the great Place of Mons,
good welcome, great room very spacious, everything well working. When we come to Mons for work we always choose this hotel.
Apart from the black painted walls and the clear glass partition between the shower and bedroom which we found a bit "bizarre", we found the hotel excellent.
