Everything was amazing, the house itself and the history behind it was interesting to read about , I was blown away the minute I walked through the gate into the garden then into the room, every detail was exceptional right down to the personal touches like fresh bread and jams , granola etc and the little bits of lavender in the bathroom on the towels , Andrew and Julia go above and beyond to make you feel at home, I will definately be back to stay again for another mini staycay , thankyou for an amazing relaxing weekend absolutely beautiful property and I didn’t want to leave ❤️

We loved the town of Sheffield, with it's focus on art and heritage streetscape. The murals are magnificent. The art gallery/shop was beautiful, showcasing many local artists' work - should have spent more time there. One highlight was dinner served by a robot at the local Chinese restaurant (which was not glamorous, but really tasty) - booking essential. We should have had a couple of days exploring the town.
All around is beautiful rural countryside, and the drive to Cradle Mountain was easy and picturesque. The facilities are Cradle Mt are top class, and the various walks are stunning.
We had an amazing seafood lunch in the port of the lovely heritage town of Stanley, and could easily have spent a night or two there. The beaches are stunning, and the views from the top of The Nut (take the chairlift), are incredible. Lots of lovely places to eat, drink and shop.
A car is a must - there are probably buses running from main towns, but I would doubt they are very regular.
