Everyone we met were super friendly.
Everyone we met were super friendly. We were recommended the Railway Hotel for dinner, but instead we ate at Gunnedah Chinese Restaurant. The food was so fresh and delicious we wish we could have tried more dishes 😁

A nice little town.
A nice little town. The Mary McKellar mural on the side of 3 silos is great.
The Gunnedah Bowls Club has a good menu, and we enjoyed our meal there (a big serve). Breakfast at Zeds was great and is a popular spot.
The art & craft at the information centre was good as was the help from the lady working there.

I felt very much at home.
I felt very much at home. Visited old sights and places that I haven't seen for many years. Enjoyed lovely home cooking at local Clubs with Family and relatives. No problems getting around as signage is very clear, people very friendly. Sight seeing and history is most enjoyable.

Tidy clean vibrant town.
Tidy clean vibrant town. Well arrive d after an overnight at the van on Saturday morning. We shopped early looking at country wear and the young lady at the store recommended a coffee shop at the civic mall. We couldn't get in it was going off. Also we didn't try them as we were there at 0830 but restaurant selection appeared to be wide for people staying a while, Nice town. Craps all over Wellington
Cheap, clean room, comfy bed, strong air con, Netflix set up already, big TV, dog-friendly, and lots of beautiful native birds to see at dusk in the trees near the pool area. Close to main Gunnedah strip and all the pubs and restaurants, and lots of local info at front desk. They provide shampoo, conditioner etc in big refillable squeeze bottles instead of the mini single-use plastics so many hotels use that are terrible for the environment which is always good to see.
The hotel is close to the school where my main point of my visit was.
I suppose they gave me the biggest room with 2 normal beds and one queen sized bed.
I was on my own. The bed was good but the doona was too thin for winter.
There was a supply of coffee, tea and milk, a kettle, a toaster, some mugs and glasses and spoons, but no other utensils. Neither plates bowls. There were enough towels.
The Couple on Reception were very friendly with their welcome . When they realised my Wife is disabled they offered us the Disabled Room 11 which was very convenient and comfortable for us . We made our own Breakfast and they provided us with plates willingly [ on request ] so that helped a lot . All in all a very comfortable stay in Gunnedah .
Great Location
Lady at reception was lovely
Very Clean and Tidy
Room was really big
Beds were really comfy
Air Con was great
Bathroom was very clean and had toiletries supplied
I will definitely staff there every time I go to Gunnedah
Unit was fantastic, and having secure parking and coded entry was awesome. Would never have thought to stay somewhere like here but will definitely be staying there next time we are in Gunnedah
Undercover parking at the door of our accommodation made for an easy arrival and unpacking the car. Free WiFi which meant we could stream a Netflix movie was a winner for my daughter.
Great location in the main Street
The best comfortable bed in a hotel
Across the road to McDonald’s
On top of a great bar with a great hotel restaurant
A really lovely motel. Clean, quiet modern fixtures and fittings. Overall a great motel in the main street of Gunnedah. We will be staying there again.
