Lots of meal choices from multiple pubs and restaurants. A pleasant main shopping street, but this is very busy with large vehicles coming through at all times. At Gawler specifically for BMX Championships - so the proximity of the track to the venue was a key decider. Lovely little town, very pretty, good amenities and a number of venues for eating if you are not feeling like cooking on your trip! Close to wineries if that is your bent! Only an hour out of Adelaide.

Charming place with lots of choices to eat out. My accommodation was within easy walking distance of the town centre and a historic walk along the river. However the heat discouraged me from too much walking and parking in the town centre is a bit limited. I recommend travelling there when the temperatures are a bit cooler.NoellaAustralia
