Location: proximity to Sovereign Hill is excellent. Room 6: our initial room and bed-lamps for both beds. Room 6 to 5: staff provided assistance moving to another room that had a working tv + given a bottle of wine for the inconvenience of having to relocate to another room. Room 5: room we transferred to had 2 separate bedrooms which was an upgrade for us.
Décor: old world feel created with dark furniture and warm lighting which created a welcoming ambience. Bathroom: low level light over vanity is welcomed, as most lights are blinding during the night + mirror height positioned to be suitable for tall and short people. Carport: Great to have the car under cover especially in winter. On site restaurant: Azzuri is excellent. Great food. Great ambience with wood fire going. I would definitely stay here again. We were there in winter so didn’t use the pool or gym. Very quiet. Great to have the car under cover and not have to scrape ice off in the morning.
Located within a beautiful heritage listed building, just steps from Ballarat train station, the property provides rooms with cable TV, free WiFi and heating. Free parking is available on site.

Beautiful little town with excellent facilities; parks, hotels/pubs, bakeries, etc. The team in the information centre were friendly and provided great ideas for activities for our weekend. We had our bikes and were surprised to find an excellent bike park with fun tracks for beginners through to advanced riders. Plenty of walking tracks also. There's some top class tennis courts if that's your thing - byo racket/balls. Did a driving tour of the mining history around the region - great information boards and scenic drive. Enjoyed the flour mill in Smeaton and the wool mill in Creswick.

Lovely location and accommodation.
Lovely location and accommodation. Management needs to update internet information. Great place for a weekender. Do not miss the Woolen Mill or the lake both worth a visit. Both pubs serve excellent food and Smokytown cafe serve excellent breakfasts.

Accomodation was perfect.
Accomodation was perfect. Modern, comfortable and very clean. Very reasonably priced.
A warning for future guests, don't rely on Google Maps to take you there! Instead read the perfectly clear instructions supplied when you pick up the keys. (We didn't, and spent a frustrating 2 hours driving up and down rutted country roads.)

Some great food and things to do around Creswick. I had amazing coffee and food at Le Peche Gourmand which is definitely worth a visit. The town of Clunes is nearby which is great for some exploring and there are some great walks available nearby.

Creswick is a great central location to do day trips within the Golden Triangle. Our daily trips were to Ballarat, Clunes, Maryborough, Daylesford and Bendigo, none more than half an hour away. Creswick has great food and wine facilities, an Information Centre and a Coles Express. Plenty of value accommodation.
Highly recommended odessa at leavers hotel. The owner does everything above and beyond to accommodate you. The personal touches make your stay feel like home. My friend and I have been hiking the Goldfields track, after many long kms the hot bath and fire was so good. The fire was going when we got there to ensure the accommodation was warm. The bed was so comfortable I don't think I moved. Thankyou so much
I loved the peaceful environment and being surrounded by nature. Only a short walk to St George's Lake and a short drive to the town, blue waters, and La Gerche Forest. It was perfect for a 2 night getaway. Even though it was a busier time of year, the town is Creswick is still a quiet little town with lots to do, and the location of Eastern Hill is definitely a winning point.
Exceptional little hotel, very lucky to have gotten the last room for New Years Eve! Lovely comfortable room, quiet area but easy to walk into town for breakfast or the local IGA. Staff were very kind on both admit and discharge.
Exactly what we wanted, better than in the pictures, exceeded our expectations, would stay here again without hesitation.
I booked the accommodation for my for my husband and son, who visited our daughter in Creswick. They said that there was plenty of room and they each had their own bedroom. The place was very clean and everything (like crockery, cutlery, cooking utensil) they needed was available for having their pizza and making their breakfast in the morning.
It was very quiet and tranquil. A place to switch off and get in touch with nature. Off the beaten track, 3 mins drive to the delightful little town of Creswick, filled with lovely people and great food. 15 min drive to Daylesford and plenty of wonderful things to see and do within a short distance.
Twin room was warm and welcoming. Friendly staff facilitated access for our late arrival. Super handy location in the heart of Creswick - a short walk to a great pub for dinner and several cafes and bakeries for breakfast - and a 7-8 minute drive to visit Black Cat Truffle farm
A couple of minutes walk into beautiful Creswick township. Deb, made some great recommendations on where to eat. Fantastic food spots. She provided a discount voucher for Creswick mills and I scored a beautiful blue alpaca scarf as a result. Lovely stay.
Location was perfect for our purpose, quite easy to find, close to all that Creswick has to offer.
The property was attractive and clean, very quiet, comfortable beds. We will stay there again if we are in the area.
not much, I felt I was tricked to thinking this accoodatin was in the main street of Creswick, when infact thats where you collected the keys to then drive 5 mins away to a very dirty room.
Quirky but really cosy and comfortable cottage in a quiet part of the beautiful town of Creswick. We loved staying there and hope to return later in the year.
